"Master, we caught her."

"Good, bring her to my warehouse in Krems" and ended the call with an evil smirk

' We meet finally sweetheart'

"Amaira, my darling," a familiar voice stirred me

"Amaira, my darling," a familiar voice stirred me.

"Raj, oh my god, look at her. Amaira, please wake up baby," came the voice I had yearned for far too long.

"Mom?" My eyes shot open, desperate to see her face and hold her tight, never letting go.

"Yes baby, it's your mother. I'm so- s- sorry darling. You should have been playing carefree, not enduring that hell." Tears streamed down her cheeks.

Despite the joy of seeing my parents, confusion flooded me. Where was I? What happened? Then it hit me - the restaurant shooting! I was dead. Relief washed over me. No more pain or suffering. I could finally have the family I always wanted.

"Mom, Dad, is it really you? You won't leave me now, right? I came to be with you! No one can separate us again!" I embraced them tightly, tears of happiness flowing.

"Oh Amu dear, we aren't real, not in the way you think," Dad said sadly. "You have to go back. Your time hasn't come yet."

Go back? But I was shot! I was dead! Why say my time hadn't come?

"What do you mean? I'm dead, aren't I?" I choked out.

"Amaira, listen, you must return for a while longer. I can't promise you won't face pain. It may be worse than before. But it will pass swiftly, and then you'll have a life where no one can ever hurt you again," Mom said gently.

"More pain? No! I want to stay with you! Please don't make me go back!" I pleaded desperately.

"You have to go now, but we'll meet again soon, I promise," they said, fading away.

"Mom, Dad, don't leave me! Take me with you!" I screamed, grasping at where they had stood just moments before.

A violent jolt shocked me awake. I blinked rapidly, squinting against the enveloping darkness. Cold metal bit into my wrists - I was shackled. Where was I?
