"In-N-Out, shake it all about!" - Crabstickz

(2:00)

"-I'll try and record as much as I can, but fuck, you know..." Chris mumbled, already losing his original train of thought. Clumsily attempting to hit the record button on his camera to stop the video, he managed to set off the snapshot function. Not only was he momentarily blinded by the extremely white flash that came as a result, Chris also attracted the attention of every relatively sober human in the vicinity.

Holding up a hand in greeting, he grinned. "I'm fine, I'm fine, all is goooood!" Majority of the witnesses had already turned away, but this didn't overly matter to Chris. He came here to have fun and lose the last of whatever timid emotions were stashed deep in his brain. He couldn't back down from anything he did now, he swore that to the Oscar's Hotel crew earlier.

"Chris, what're you doing!" came the unexpected, shouted, response causing the slightly-more-drunk-than-usual Chris to start. Letting his eyes adjust to the darkness once more, he surveyed the parking lot, and immediately picked out an approaching figure.

Sheepishly lowering his hand, Chris tried to identify the man who stood just a few feet away, but struggled to even pick out any facial features in the dim light, let alone match them to someone he knew. The orange radiance from a nearby lamp post was behind the man, throwing all of his frontal extremities into shadow.

Chris decided not to comment on it. He figured he would realise who it was once they started talking to him anyway, so instead he closed the gap and hugged the man in a friendly gesture. That was what friends did, surely. "Heyyy," he drawled, dragging out the 'ay' sound. "What's up?"

Stepping back, he immediately zoned out of whatever response was being given, in exchange for studying their face. It was definitely a man, no girl he knew had shoulders as wide as that. And the voice was deep, but Chris was too far gone to recognise it. It sounded familiar, sure, but didn't every voice?

Chris mentally checked himself. Of course not every voice sounded familiar, there were plenty of strangers in this world. Forcing himself to focus back in on the speaker, he managed to catch the last few words, and silently thanked his great luck.

"So man, you getting down tonight with someone?"

Chris giggled, a noise that did not fit at all with the context of the conversation. Wasn't that exactly what he was just vlogging about? "Of course! Who do you think I am?"

Taking a swig from his drink, he hurried on. "Actually, have you seen PJ? I told my viewers I would start flirting tonight, and I can't think of a better place to start."

Immediately, the stranger's stance changed. "Chris, are you really sure about that? You haven't told him yet, is this really the best way to come out to him?" Pause. "You're drunk, for christ's sake!"

Chris threw his hands up in the air, sloshing a little of his beer out the neck of the bottle. "I'm not drunk, I'm drunk on funnnnn!" he stated, exclaiming the last bit loud enough for those around him to hear. Not that he cared, of course.

"Chris, that doesn't even make any sense! Just... look me straight in the eye, and tell me you really want to do this now."

Chris grinned, and lowered his arms. "I, Chris Kendall," he started, raising an open hand as if he were pledging himself to some greater cause. "Solemnly vow to be held accountable for all my actions, no matter how fucked up I may get."

The stranger sighed. "Fine, fine, whatever, smartass. PJ was just outside the front doors last time I saw him," he said, waving Chris towards the building that was bursting at the seams with loud people and music alike.
