Edit: it's two months later and I only just realised this doesn't have a video attached. I'll try and find it, but honestly, I can't remember what it was :/
Joe's head peeked back over the edge of the couch, grinning wildly. "You're an idiot if you think I'd fall for that," he teased.
Caspar didn't miss a beat. "I don't know Joe, Zoe is pretty hot..." he mused, thumbing his bottom lip thoughtfully, gazing up toward the ceiling from where he lay on his back.
"Hey!" Joe pouted, leaning down to lightly shove Caspar. "You don't mean that!"
"She's got better hair than you," Caspar pointed out jokingly, instantly pressing himself further down on his back to avoid Joe's flailing hand.
"Take it back!" Joe demanded, leaning further over the back of the sofa.
"Nope," Caspar responded, childishly crossing his arms and staring at Joe in a silent challenge.
"Caspar!" Joe whined, collapsing against the couch in defeat, letting both his arms hang limp to lightly rest on Caspar's chest.
"You're right, this isn't fair..." Caspar murmured after a moment, drumming his fingers against one of Joe's hands.
Joe looked up, raising an eyebrow at Caspar's easy defeat. Their petty arguments could last hours on end; this was surely the quickest time on record for someone to give in.
"...to Alfie," Caspar finished, cracking a grin and throwing Joe's hands away.
"You're an asshole," Joe grumbled, pressing down on Caspar's stomach.
"Says you," Caspar retorted, his grin never fading.
"I'm not the one who fancies Zoe, eh?" A smile began to creep back onto Joe's face, his eyes lighting up with mischief.
"No, I don't!" Caspar burst out, before realising the full effect of his careless words.
"Ha!" Joe cried jubilantly, standing upright. "You admitted it!"
"No- wait, shit, yeah," Caspar relinquished, sagging down in defeat. "It's not like it wasn't obvious though," he added, giving a weak smile.
"Doesn't change the fact that I won," Joe said smugly, throwing himself haphazardly over the edge of the couch, and toppling onto Caspar's chest.
Caspar groaned as all of Joe's weight fell on him, pushing the air out of his lungs in one rapid rush. Joe himself wasn't that heavy, but the unexpected collision made up for whatever weight his roommate lacked.
"Joe!" Caspar complained, worming his arms out from between their bodies. "Get off!" Making one last feeble attempt at moving Joe in the form of a light, unforceful push, Caspar groaned again, letting his head fall back.
Joe wriggled around until he was pressed flush against Caspar, his face alight with triumph as he made himself comfortable. "Now, why would I do that?"
"Because you're a nice person?" Caspar tried, letting his arm hang off the side of the furniture, the other resting lightly against Joe's back.
"Because I'm a nice person?" Joe repeated, raising his eyebrows. "That's the best you've got?"
"Uhh," Caspar mumbled, his eyes trailing away from Joe's persistent gaze, at a loss for words. Joe began to mindlessly fiddle with Caspar's shirt, unknowingly making the situation that much harder. He could feel Joe's steady heartbeat, a stark contrast to Caspar's own flurried thumps.
"Yes, Cas?" Joe prodded, this time meaningly twisting his hands into Caspar's shirt, and resting on his forearms. His elbows were starting to dig in to Caspar's ribs, but he didn't dare mention it out loud, knowing that Joe would immediately cease whatever teasing mood he had going on.
