When we arrived, it looked like an abandoned city which was now used as a training ground for many people. It felt like radiation here, but we could take it. Guess the whole "Nuke" bullshit kind of made sense after all.
"Alright, I'm gonna help you set these up. It won't be a fight otherwise." He replies as he grabs one of them by turning his arm into a long range chain-whip, grabbing the case and putting it on a rooftop nearby. He then deploys the rest of the cases nearby. His arm goes back into his normal state.
Shapeshifting? That's weird as shit I'll give him that.
Max and Evelyn were nearby, ready to interfere incase things went out of hand. She disabled the inhibitors on me that I wasn't aware about.
"You ready Ultra?" Alex asks me. "As I'll ever be." I reply. I put 'FIGHT AGAINST THE SHADOWS' on my Blue Headphones, what sucked was that my sorry excuse of a girlfriend bought me them when she thought we were dating.
ALEX'S POV
We both go into a stance, Ultra's looked oddly familiar but I couldn't exactly figure it out what stance he had that looked familiar. But something came into my mind, why do people call him Lightning?
When I'm just about to chase him, he suddenly disappears out of thin air. I stay on guard and I close my eyes. Waiting for a chance to strike. He has either three abilities, he can go invisible, teleport or even run at fast speeds. Possibly even breaking the sound barrier. I would not stand a chance against him, he sure may be tough. But is he versatile? Only one way to find out.
I hear him coming close so I shift my hand into a massive hammer-fist. And I throw it towards him with all my might. It hits him countering his starting attack. I open my eyes, I had knocked him into a building but I then noticed the pixel trail. The same one that his powers had and I realised it! Super Speed. Invisibility and teleportation doesn't do that. Super Speed does, but my hearing was as awful as a whole bunch of crap because of how hard he broke the sound barrier right within earshot of me.
"I'm impressed, seriously I am. But your moves are way too predictable." I say before attempting to pound him with my fist. He extends his hand which flashes. Blinding me for a short amount of time, but in that same timeframe. He start's peforming his own combo on me. Everytime I tried to counter his strikes. It was pretty much impossible since everytime he hit me. I wouldn't be able to shapeshift in time for a counter attack.
He launches me onto the asphalt. I'm about to use a Tendril Devastator... But our fight is caught short as we both hear a nuke which was distant.
ULTRA'S POV
What the hell? Was that a nuke I just heard going off?
I jump up to the top of the canyon to see a nuke blow up, we all knew what would happen so we packed up our shit and got back into Electronic Center. While we were heading back, I only just realised how adaptable he is compared to me. He is definitely powerful. But it doesn't look like he can see me when I'm breaking the sound barrier.
