Downtown of Electronic Center. There was a ton of tendrils attached to the nearby buildings. As me & Evelyn approached from the roof. We could see what was going on. Alex was fighting some new Order prototype. I didn't understand what it was. But it might be used as a weapon to hunt me down.
"Can I ask you a quick question darling?" I ask Evelyn. She nods her head. "I'm sorry if what I'm about to say is going to make you uncomfortable but did you want to go intimate with me?" I ask. "Well the truth is, I do. Ever since I met you, you've helped me through almost everything. This is the only kind of thing that is worth giving. I trust you with my true body anyway and I know you wouldn't do anything unless I was comfortable with it." I smile at her until I realise something. "Wait a second? Aren't you 16? Though?" Her eyes widen. "I'm actually surprised you guessed my age. But not really. I'm 17 now and I think your birthdays coming up soon..." I nod my head
"Well I had always wondered what it be like to go intimate with you, a hottie. But we can talk about this later. Right now. Alex needs help. Our relationship talk can wait."
I look down and take a deep breath. I jump landing directly on the prototype solider. Startling Alex in the process. "Hey Alex. Miss me?" I reply with my usual cockiness. "I thought you died Ultra what the hell?!" Alex yells out, blocking a Super Solider attack.
I slash the Super Solider with ease with my sword. "I should be. I guess I just got lucky. Let's get the party started." Alex laughs. "Your Humor is still the same. Let's take out the trash." I smile. "Just wait till you see my new tricks!"
Sirens are heard as Department of Order APC's swarm the two of us. Surrounding us.
"Hands in the air and get off the- GET THAT BIO-TERRIORIST!!" A solider says as they open fire on me.
"Ugh, no it's 'get the Ultra User...' and good luck with that" I respond with deflecting the bullets that were fired. Alex also begins making the APC's unable to escape by binding the wheels to the chassis. Meaning they wouldn't be able to run away.
"WITH THE ORDER KNOWING IM BACK THEY MIGNT SEND PROTOTYPE SOLDIERS AFTER ME!!" I yell out while absolutely annihilating everyone that stood in my way.
"Yeah I did some recon Ultra! They truly are trying to find a way to effectively put you down!" Evelyn yells while assisting the two boys from the roof. "I thought you were spying on them. What happened?"
"Due to the Order taking down the U.C, I went solo and that's when I met him."
"Who?" Alex asks. "UltraShadow that's who. He's treating Evelyn like how Marcus was treating her back then. Even now I doubt I'm powerful enough to handle him!"
The trio absolutely cleaned house turning the ambush into a slaughterhouse for the Order. Ultra manically laughed "Oh my god, Ace just created a weapon of mass destruction. This is definitely gonna-" I freeze as I sense a powerful energy source coming from the roof. "Evelyn!" I yell out grappling her down towards me. Just in time for the energy to appear out of thin air and almost strike Evelyn.
"Jesus Christ Ultra. Now what?" She says. Unaware of the fact a heavy blow would have been landed. "Something else is here. And I might have a good feeling I know what it is."
"You don't mean?!" I instantly realise that when the colour faded. It was crimson. "Evelyn! Get Alex out of here but stay out of sight. He's here. Probably to try and make a mockery out of me again." Evelyn nods as her & Alex escapes. Leaving only me in the area.
"I thought I'd find you here." An edgy voice said and I knew what voice it was. I turned around to see UltraShadow Blackness standing there. He hadn't changed his appearance that much. "Still being the Order's pawn aren't you? Do you not even know the Orders true intentions?" I ask. Pointing my sword towards him. No answer.
He faded away again but appeared behind me to try and strike me. But unknown to UltraShadow, this was a trick I saw coming and I was able to parry his starting attack. "Nice try!" I yell out. Slashing my sword absolutely destroying his sword in the process.
"Y-You!!" I smile. "What's wrong did your mother not teach you how to use a sword?" I taunt. UltraShadow gets more pissed off as he clenched his fist charging his energy. "SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU NOBODY!!"
[Evelyn's PoV]
"I guess you still like him even after all this time?" Alex asks as we both sit on a rooftop away from where UltraShadow & Ultra were at.
"I... Guess so. I really wanna be his girlfriend and as crazy as it sounds. I really wanna give myself to him." I confess. However Alex just smirks. "So by giving yourself to him. You want to give him your entire body. Girl you know he's just gonna use you for his own benefit right?"
I furrowed my eyes. "No! Sure I wanna go intimate with him but he also wants to go intimate with me infact he was the one who brought it up. Not me. I never done it because we were young and I wasn't aware of his feelings. If he hadn't met Vypeness during the raid. He probably would've asked me out."
Alex looks at me. "Yeah but knowing her. That hot absorber would have asked him if she wanted to go intimate with him. I've got no problem with it. Just makes me wonder-" We heard an explosion startling us both. "What the? FISH?!"
"Is this that 'UltraShadow' guy your crush was talking about?" Alex asks as he looks at me. "I-I think, I'm not sure. I can't tell, but I think they might be related somehow. If that really is the case. Why would they be fighting anyway?" I say whilst looking towards the explosion which later turned into an air clash
"Hey by any chance have you seen Jack? The hot absorbers brother?" I shake my head. "Alex, Jack's dead." His eyes widened and his fist clenched. "W-What?! When?" I shrug my shoulders. "No idea, we only just recently discovered that as well. Who knows how long he's been dead for. The only way we're getting that answer is by finding Rosie."
"W-Who's Rosie?" I exhale before opening my mouth to speak. "It's Vypeness's actual name. She told me herself, but for some reason. She didn't tell Ultra. Werid."
[Ultra's PoV]
The place was an utter mess after the explosion. Something about this felt different, like I was fighting a relative. "Huh? Is it just me or are you getting a sense of deja vu here?" I ask, but no response. However his facial expression gave it away. He was getting deja vu as well. Not just me. "Whatever, you're still going-" UltraShadow says before getting smacked in the skull. Knocking him unconscious.
"'Down?' You were gonna say? Yeah. Down to the concrete. Tell your commander in chief I said hi." I say picking up a skull that he was carrying with him. This was definitely not a normal skull. Infact it didn't even look like a human one either.
Dashing my way to Evelyn and Alex, I see them talking. "Hey guys, what you talking about?" I ask, I could see Evelyn blushing slightly and Alex looked at me with a serious look. "Ultra... You're not gonna use Evelyn for your own benefit right?" I tilt my head confused at what he was on about. That was until Evelyn spoke up. "He's meaning the whole intimate thing you said to me before." I sigh. "Alex, who do you think I am? Marcus? I'd never use Evelyn for my own benefit. That just sounds wrong." Alex's posture relaxed.
"Uhh, anyway. UltraShadow had this skull looking thing. I don't know what it is so I can't make much use of it, from the looks of it, it's small enough to work as an extension to the MK.II. But I'm not fully convinced of that yet." I passed the skull onto Evelyn for her to take a look at. It had some interesting properties since the eyes glowed light blue but is now glowing pink. Probably because Evelyn's holding it. "Looks like it glows with the colour of the users favourite colour I'm assuming. I'm gonna go and RTB to look at this cause this is interesting." Evelyn says. I nod my head as she flies away. Leaving me and Alex on the scene.
"Okay. Alex I have another quest I need to do. You can either come with me or you can head back to the base. Your call man. The base is at the ruins of Lab 69 at a secret entrance. This Quest is somewhere in Downtown. Don't know where exactly..." Alex smiles as I say all that. "I'll come with you. I got a lot of time to kill anyway." I smile. "Very well then. Follow me Alex!" I say flying in the air into the direction of Alex following. I couldn't go at max speed otherwise Alex wouldn't be able to keep up with me.
"Can you still see me Alex?"
"Yes I can. And I can bearly keep up with you. Staying slow so I don't lose you?"
"Exactly why I'm not at my max speed. Normally from here to downtown it takes around 2 minutes but now it's probably gonna be 5 give or take."
