Bethany's POV
I'm on my way to meet Cameron.
I went inside. I saw him sitting down on one of the chairs.
I sat down across from him.
"So." I broke the silence.
"Calm down. Is Kian anywhere around here?" He asked.
"No. Not at all." I say
"Prove it." He says back.
"I swear he is no where around here psychopath." I replied.
"Okay." He made sure of it.
"So Bethany, I uhh wanted to ask you uh-a question." Cameron says nervously.
"Yeah. " I replied.
"Before I do. I have to explain something to uh- you." He sounds like he is nervous. He is nervous.
"Go ahead."
"The Cameron, you saw at school, beating Kian putting you in the closet. Was all fake." He explained.
"How was almost killing my best friend faking it?" I asked.
"I didn't mean it. In fact. I was going to visit Kian in the hospital, to give him this card." He handed me a blue card saying, Get Well Soon. "But, I thought he would be mad at me so I just kept it." I opened the card and saw $20.
"The truth is, I-I just wanted us to be friends. But, I think I introduced myself the wrong way. I'm sorry. If you don't believe me it's fine. I'll leave you alone." He explained.
I still don't get why he stuffed me in the janitors closet.
Cameron's POV
I hated the fact Beth doesn't believe all this at all. I wanted her to be my friend.
But, no. I blew my chance into becoming her friend by acting like a total douchebag.
"I'm really sorry. If you don't believe me it's fine. If you have any questions your concerned about just ask me. Here's my number. Text me if you need me." I explained.
"Ok. I have to go." Bethany got up from her seat. "I need to think about this."
"Just don't tell anyone I said all this. Please. You can tell anyone about anything but not this conversation. Please." I begged her.
"Yes, I'll keep it a secret. But you have to leave me alone at school." She made a condition.
"I promise. Thank you so much." I sighed.
I watched her leave the coffee shop. She forgot her sun glasses.
