You shake your head, what where you thinking? Coming to Lux Aurea after it was abandoned. All because you wanted to go to the great bookery! How stupid! Now you hide in the book drop as infected banthers claw at your hiding spot...

"Would you like to see my favorite spot in the bookery?" A voice asks.

You gulp, you must have fallen asleep in the book drop.

"Umm... the book drop?" Another voice asks.

"Yup I watched the librarians and discovered how it opened. I'd hide in there once it closed. Occasionally I'd get a book dropped on my head, but it was usually fascinating." Suddenly, you hear banging and the door pops open, you fall out and scoot away.

"Why where you in the book drop." The elf who opened the door asks.

You point to your lips and shake your head, letting them know you can't speak.

The elf kneels next to you. "Are you ok?"

You nod.

"Then why where you in the book drop?"

You think perhaps he didn't understand what you tried to tell him so you sign, I can hear you, but I can't speak. I hid in the book drop because of the banthers. And you have no idea what I'm saying do you?

The elf smiles. "I understand you... and so do the four humans with me... Rayla is still learning though."

You smile and sign. My name is y/n.

"Well y/n. I'm Kazi. The human on the armor is Amaya. The one in the crown is-"

"I'm king Ezran of Katolis and this is my brother, high mage Callum. That's Rayla. Oh, and the red head is Gren, he's Amaya's translator, but Callum usually beats him to it..."

You immediately jump to your feet and bow.

Ezran laughs. "You don't need to bow."

"And just Callum is fine." The tall boy says.

You smile and nod.

Amaya looks at Callum and signs. We need to hurry, we have six hours until the sun sets.

Callum nods. "She said we need to hurry." He translates to Rayla.

What are you looking for? You sign.

Callum sighs. "We need to find out how to kill a startouch elf, and fast."

Are you referring to Aaravos? You quickly sign.

Callum nods.

You smile. Can I help?

Kazi nods. "I've more hands the better."

"Nothing in this book." Callum says.

You look at him. Wait... your the human who learned the sky arcanum... right?

Callum nods. "The one and only!"

You smile. Maybe later you could show me some magic?

He smiles and nods. "Sure!"

"And, got it oh!" You look over as kazi looses his balance on the latter and tumbles backwards.

You jump to your feet and catch him, then with the other hand you catch the three books he dropped.

He smiles. "Thanks..."

You nod and hand him the books.
