Useless

You couldn't walk, you couldn't speak and now, you couldn't see either. This was a living nightmare.

You could hear, your body went tense as someone touched you. Then you felt the familiar warmth of Kazi's lips on your forehead. You turned away, you didn't want anyone to see you like this, it was horrid.

"Y/N, it's alright, it's only temporary, your eyesight will return."

You let out a sob as you signed, I'm scared. You had never admitted that before, but right now, you where terrified.

Kazi forced you to lay on your back. "Do you trust me?"

You nodded.

"Then I have an idea." He whispered, stroking your cheek before wiping away the tear that had escaped.

Kazi handed you another object and you ran your fingers along it. It was smooth and hard. A rock?

Kazi laughed. "Guess again."

Is it food?

"No, don't eat it!"

You shook your head, you had no idea what it was.

"Come on, don't give up yet..." Kazi said.

You ran your fingers over it again and frowned. Is it glass?

"Not even close."

You smiled. It's a chunk of metal isn't it?

"Yes, you got it." Kazi handed you something else.

I can't read this.

Kazi chuckled. "Yah, I thought that one would be easy."

You reached out and grabbed for Kazi's hand. I love you. You signed before taking his hands.

"I love you too." Kazi whispered, kissing your cheek.

You smiled, despite your situation, you where happy. Kazi always knew how to cheer you up. Thank you. You signed to kazi.

"What? What did I do?"

You moved your hand to the collar of his shirt, pulling him toward you so you could steal a kiss. You felt arms go around you and you smiled as Kazi whispered in your ear. "I love you..."

You wrested your head on Kazi's shoulder and sighed, you where happy for now.

It took a whole week for your eyesight to fully return, but in that time you realized just how much Kazi loves you. And how much you love him.
