Hayden's POV

"Hayden, I think I'm going to call it a night," Steve said.

"Alright, goodnight Steve," I said.

My body fell down and hit the sleeping bag. Steve is a nice guy. I looked over at him and saw the rising and falling of his chest. He's asleep.

I smiled, and drifted off. Bad idea. I felt something take control of me. The evil spirit. No. Not again.

I tried to fight him, but I was too late. I could feel my hand go into my pocket and get out the sunglasses. My hand put it on.

"Now Hayden," the evil spirit whispered. "Where do you keep your rope?"

Steve's POV

I woke up with a sudden jerk. I wasn't on my sleeping bag. Where was I? I looked around the room and it was pitch black, except a light that emitted from a computer. A laptop, to be exact.

I looked closely and saw... Hayden controlling it. He was typing down stuff.

"Hayden?" My voice came out raspy. "What are you doing? Why am I here?"

Hayden turned around. He smiled.

"Hayden isn't here anymore," he laughed. He removed his sunglasses (which he had on at the time).

Glowing eyes.

"NO!" I found myself screaming.

I had to flee. I had to get out of here. I tried to get up, but I couldn't. Of course. I was tied up.

"What do you want with me?!" I shouted.

"What do I want with you?" Hayden- no Herobrine said. "I want you dead. I failed last time, but this time... this time you will die."

He revealed the computer screen. "Do you like Hardcore mode?"

"What is that?" I asked.

"It's survival mode, but when you die, it deletes," Herobrine said. "And in this case, you will die with it."

He's going to throw me in? I thought. No!

He started towards me. I tried rolling away, but I was too late. Herobrine picked me up, and carried me to the laptop. Right in front of the laptop, he stopped.

"Any last words?" he asked.

I took a deep breath. "Wherever you are Hayden, why didn't you stop him? Why?"

Herobrine chuckled. "He was quite the defiant one."

I could have sworn I saw Herobrine's eyes flicker hazel.

"Now, goodbye brother." he said.

He threw me in the laptop.

I was falling, falling into darkness.
