Chapter 20

"Welcome to the Nether," Ashton said.

Sweat dripped down my face. I heard a cracking noise and whipped around. The blocks were cracking that Ashton put down!

"They're breaking through!" Ashton said. "We gotta get out of here!"

We ran away from the place. After five minutes, we stopped, out of breath and tired. I laid down on the ground.

"It's so... hot..." I moaned.

"I don't know about you, but I'm going to take a nap," Ashton said. "I'm pretty sure we lost them."

"Okay..." I said.

I removed my shirt and placed it next to me. My body temperature cooled off... a little bit. But it helped.

"I'll wake you up... in a hour," I mumbled.

My eyes immediately shut and I dozed off.

Herobrine's POV

I waited for the pigmen to return with the news. They better have killed Steve...

The zombie pigmen walked into the room with their heads lowered.

"Did you kill him?" I asked them.

"There wasn't one... there were two of them..." One of the pigmen said.

Snapp! I should have known... why did I throw Steve in the same server as him? And how did I, anyway?

"You didn't answer my question," I said, teeth clenched. "Did you kill Ashton and Steve?"

They all bowed down their heads. "They escaped. We tried catching them, but they got away."

One of them spoke. "I was about to kill Steve, but Snapp knocked me out before I had the chance."

Rage erupted inside of me. They got away again? I clenched my teeth and forced a smile on my face. I pointed to the pigman that just spoke to me.

"Can you come up here?" I asked him.

He walked up to me.

"Yes, master?" he said.

I pulled out my dagger and slaughtered him. The zombie pigman fell to the ground. Blood splattered on my shirt.

I looked up at the other pigmen. They looked so terrified, I wanted to laugh.

"That's what will happen to you if you fail me!" I exclaimed. "Now, find them!"

They bowed, and said, "Yes, master!" and scurried out of the room.

I kicked the zombie pigman corpse out of the way and snorted. What a piece of junk.

After a minute, a figure entered the room. I smiled.

"My love," I said.

I embraced her in a hug.

"I missed you, Herobrine," she said.

"I did too, Destiny."

"Did you find Steve yet?" Destiny asked.

"Not yet," I said.

"If that's the case," she said. "I'll take care of them."

"How?" I asked.

"I'll bring them," Destiny said. "I will find them."
