Bilbo stood and watched dwarfs pondered around his home . How in earth did he end up in this situation.

They were all sat peacefully ( thank the heavens) with a pint of ale each. Thorin, the leader of the group, discussed with them the journey that awaits them. They finally handed bilbo the contract he had to sign. As he was reading, there was a knock at the door. Everyone was confused, everybody that was needed was there. Thorin raised an eyebrow and turned his head to Gandalf.

"Bilbo, my dear fellow, go answer the door" he spoke as he took a puff out of his pipe.

Bilbo nodded and hurried to the door. He prayed it wasn't another dwarf. He swung the door opened. He saw two MORE dwarves stood in front of him. But he couldn't help to think how breathtaking they were. The taller one was a male. He had light eyes, and fiery red hair. He was very well built and looked down intimidatingly at bilbo.

The female had a more youthful look to her, she had dark brown hair and two different coloured eyes

"Nordir" said the taller dwarf

"Nordir" said the taller dwarf. Bowing swiftly, making sure not to hit bilbo with his axe.
"Y/n" said the female, sharply bowing herself.
"At your service" they said in unison. Similarly to Kili and fili.
"Bilbo baggins at yours, d-do come in" he stuttered out. Stretching his arm out and opening the door further.

The duo walked into the small home and placed their weapons down. They walked towards the commotion in one of the rooms.

"Ah! Nordir and Y/n! Pleasure to see you finally join us!" Gandalf spoke happily. Nordir sent him a quick smile.
"We are as delighted to see you as you are to us, old friend." He chuckled. He nudged y/n. She nodded.
"Yes...sure are" she said, her eyes scanned the room. Not knowing anybody until, her eyes landed on a familiar face.
"Fili? Fili durin?" Her voice danced in everyone's ears.
"My god!" He shot up out of his chair and ran to the duo. Engulfing them both.

"I hate to break the reunion" Thorin spoke up. Standing straighter, trying to intimidate the two.
"Who are you? And how do you know my nephew" he grumbled.

"I'm Nordir your majesty and this, is my sister, Y/n. We are friends of Fili." He smiled at the soon to be king.

Thorin sat back down and held his hand above the table.
"Take a seat." He spoke. Saying no more to the pair, continuing on from where they left.

*KILI'S POV:*

Who is she? Why is she so reserved? How does she know my brother and I don't?
Oh my durin she's coming to sit next to me. Ok Kili be cool, be cool, be cool. She's sitting next to me. Oh wow. Why am I acting like this? Why am I sweating.

Bilbo and passed out due to the consequences on the contract. It was kinda funny.
"Y/n come help me lift him to a chair" Gandalf mumbled. She quickly obliged and followed him. I couldn't help but take her in again. She was magical. She really was. As I was looking more a pair of fingers snapped in front of my face.
"Fili, you better stop your brother looking at that girl, I think Nordirs going to burst." I heard bofur chuckle. I look across the table and Nordir's eye was twitching.
I quickly bow my head and occupied myself with my thoughts. My thoughts of her.

*END OF POV*

Y/n sat in the living room with bilbo. She sat in front of him. He was currently bickering with Gandalf. Gandalf had given up on trying to convince him to come. So she wanted to try.
"Mr baggins" she leaned forwards in her chair, gently cupping his hands in her scar ridden ones. He looked up at her.
"Although Gandalf can't guarantee your safety. I promise on my life I shall. If you just stay by my side I will protect you from all harm" she placed his hands close to her face. She placed a quick kiss. She quickly reached into her pocket. A locket.
"My mother and father passed away, when Smaug attacked Erebor. This locket belonged to my mother. If I give you this, and protect you on this journey, and you live. You shall give it back to me"
She smiled at him.
"Like a promise?" He asked. She chuckled.
"Yes" she smiled. He looked at the locket In his hands, then to her hopeful eyes. He sighed.
"I'm sorry, I can't" he pushed the locket back towards her.
"I'm a hobbit, hobbits are not supposed to leave the shire" he furrowed his eyebrows. She pushed the locket back.
"Keep it"
"What?"
"I'll come back for it" she smiled at him. He smiled at her. She stood up and walked out.

He pondered for a moment, looking at the contract sprawled out in front of him.
I
