Brenton- "Well it sounds like you do son" "I mean pops I know I do I just hope she knows it that's all" I say to my dad as we sit down to watch a preseason football game in the basement " have you talked to her about how you feel?" " no I don't wanna upset her or add to her stress.." " but you miss your lady"  he says while eating his chips " yeah between work, school, and Nessa I barely get to see her now" "when's the last time you seen her" "FaceTime this morning" "boy ..that don't count" "do you know her schedule or routine" he takes a swig of his beer "yes" I say while thinking about kae's schedule "well son when she's least busy that's when you pop up .. it worked on ya momma" "did it..did it really.. cause y'all ..he cuts me off  "alright now but you see where we are now" "you right, you being gone had mom acting ..different" "yeah hot and bothered" "Ewh cmon dad" we laugh and continue to watch the game and kick it in the man cave until my mom comes downstairs to collect her husband and writing partner for the night "alright Mr. handsome we have 3 chapters to proofread and send off to the editor, you ready to get to work?" She steps off the stairs wearing one of my dads white button down polo shirts with a pen to her lip and glasses on top of her head "excuse me traci" she say as she steps behind his part of the couch to hide the fact that she's not wearing pants "well that's my que" he stands up and wraps an arm around her and they head upstairs. I sit back and think about what I'm about to do about my situation then I get an idea ...

~~~~~~~~The Next Day~~~~~~~

Kaelia- It's 6:30pm and i'm walking out of the office after a long day of code switching and case filling car keys in hand a slight speed on my walk because i'm ready to take off my shoes and go home worst part about it is I have to go to my salon from here because I accepted a last minute appointment for a set of medium butt length bohemian Knotless braids. My client offered to pay an extra $85 to get them done tonight so on top of my regular 2 job workday of tips from errand/coffee runs and doing hair I made a total of $568 cash ..ouuu I can't wait till payday. I think to myself as I walk up to my car and put my things in my passengers seat I hear a car door close, I turn around and its Traci with 2 dozen red and white long stem roses and a bottle of my favorite red wine I froze as I watched him walk over my heart smiled and he said " I missed you" " I missed you too baby" I say taking him into my arms and kissing him firmly " thank you for these beautiful flowers"" I say taking my gift and laying into Traci as he wraps his arms around me while walking me backwards to my car door "Your welcome of course ..listen so what else do you have planned for tonight " " I'm about to go to the salon I have a client and then I can go home for the night and guess what?" He looks at me sideways and leans back a little "what" "I'm off tomorrow" I say as the biggest smile spreads across his face "its about damn time" " I knew you'd like that" I say as  I relax in his arms..damn he smells good I think to myself as he holds me for a second and then kissed me softly before I get in the car. I roll my window down as I got situated  in my seat he sticks his head in and continued planting kisses on me "ima go meet up with Ky, get us something to eat and then meet you at the salon let me know when you almost finished" he leans in for a kiss "yes daddy" I say bite my lip and kiss him again he grins and backs up so I can pull off "yeah alright .. do start nun you can't finish" he says as he back tracks in the direction his car. I lean forward " you're lucky I have a client tonight" I say with a smirk as I start my car "is that a threat" "call it a fact" " nah the fact is your lucky you have a client" he says as he walks back up to my window he sticks his head inside so we're face to face " you just don't know how much I've been missing you.. for real" He looks me in my eyes then down at my lips, I felt my body temperature rising and my scalp officially sweating "Uggh" I kiss him a few times "Traci your gonna make me late" we kiss again then his phone rang before he could say anything he backs up out of the window and answers whoever is calling "I love you!" I call out the window and slowly start to pull off he taps the hood of my car "I love you too baby!" I hear him as I drive off I see him get in his car in my rear view.
