[okay lovelies, this is probably my favourite part of the entire book. part three is just so heart warming, fair warning we are going into many feels with maxcy. and i would love if you leave lots and lots of comments x. thank you for all the support you always show me, hope you enjoy the next character graphics and this next chapter x :) ]
note: all italics in conversation is french and all bracket italics is translation of the french words. remember marcy speaks french as her main language when she is with family or charles/pierre's family.

As per usual on Marcy's birthday she was used to waking up to a joint phone call from her siblings, but today when her eyes opened, she noticed her phone wasn't ringing. She turned to her bedside table and saw her phone on, but there were no notifications. Marcy even noticed Max was nowhere in the room, it was closer to 9am and Max was a morning person, so she didn't think much of it.
Slipping into her comfy fluffy slippers she headed for the kitchen, but the house was too quiet and there was no sign of Max. Jimmy and Sassy were napping on their cat tree. Odd, she thought. Maybe he had gone out for a run, but he had gotten into the habit of informing her by leaving her a message or a note. When she found nothing, she got a bit upset. Had her friends and family forgotten her birthday?
Marcy wasn't one to sulk, she had learnt to make herself feel special over the years, so if her family and friends had forgotten her birthday she might as well do something for herself. Walking over to the coffee machine she was about to set a cup to brew when she noticed a little envelope in front of the machine and her name on it. When she opened it, she didn't think she was about to be sent on an adventure.

Marcy chuckled, Max had planned a scavenger hunt for her birthday? Headed to her closet she opened it find a brand new box laid out at the very front of the walk in. she picked it up and walked over to the bed. On it was a small note. 'Happy Birthday Mar, this is a little something. Love Max' inside the box was a beautiful short bodycon dress and a new pair of doc martins.
