In a grand hall adorned with intricate tapestries, a sense of anticipation hung in the air as the Council members of the werewolves assembled for a crucial meeting. The room was circular, with a massive, carved oak table at its center, surrounded by high-backed chairs, each reserved for a council member. The walls were adorned with murals depicting ancient battles and their numerous leaders, a testament to the rich history and power that resided within these walls.

As the 13 members took their seats, the murmurs of conversation gradually subsided, and the room fell into a hushed silence. At the head of the table stood a dignified figure, a man with silver streaks in his hair and an air of authority that demanded respect. His deep, voice echoed through the chamber, welcoming everyone with an air of gratitude.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to each of you for answering the call to gather here today. Our world faces a challenge of unknown, one that requires us to set aside our differences and unite in our pursuit of peace and harmony. I welcome Alpha Ivan and his Luna Karter for taking great risks in coming here and helping with the problem that not only requires our attention, but great intervention." Raine, the Council leader spoke. Raine Faux, was an intimidating, but responsible man, who tried to make sure every pack received appropriate help from the Council at any given time. He was popular for that very reason and has been elected as the Chairman for seven years straight. However, there were packs who opposed his succession as they failed to aquire help from the Council under Raine's reign.

A ripple of nodding heads and murmured agreements spread across the table, acknowledging their guests and the gravity of the situation at hand. Karter was in awe of the raw power that was emitting from the Council members that not only projected their experienced years in power, but also the profound weight of responsibility they carried for safeguarding their people. Ivan, on the other hand sat stiffly in recognition of power as he realized he had a lot more to learn. They both stood up and nodded their heads in acknowledgement.

"As we have this meeting today, it is only fitting that we acknowledge the exceptional prowess and devotion displayed by Alpha Ivan and Luna Karter in the recent incidents that plagued their pack. Our condolences for the fallen soldiers and their families." The council leader continued, his voice tinged with admiration. "Luna Karter's power is a beacon of hope in these uncertain times, and his commitment to our shared ideals is an inspiration to us all. I would like everyone to stand up and give our respect to the son of our goddess."

The council members nodded in agreement and stood up collectively, their expressions reflecting a blend of respect and admiration for Karter's formidable abilities.

"We bestow our respects to the son of goddess, Karter Starr, who shall bring us to light and victory by his great power and wisdom! We bestow our gratitude upon Ivan Black, his unwavering protector, and devoted mate, whose dedication strengthens not only his mate but our entire community. Together, their bond symbolizes the unity we must uphold in these trying times." Rita Gracia, Kaya's great aunt, who Karter recognized, spoke for all members. Karter and Ivan panicked as they didn't expect this treatment, but Ivan quickly collected himself and gave a deep bow.
