Harper was lying on the couch. It was now 4:45 pm. She never knew that the day before a wedding was this...exhausting. I mean sure she's been to plenty of weddings. It's just that she didn't have to plan it all.

The cake, the venue, the dresses, the schedule, the invitations, the dinner...yeah that's alot.

But she figured that's the price when you volunteer to be the planner for your mom's wedding. Her mom was getting married...again. To be honest, she didn't really like it at first when her mom started going out again. When she had to meet Andrew...let's just say they didn't hit it off the first time they met. Unlike Topher.

But now, she's glad that Andrew will be joining their family. He always made her mom happy and loved spending time with her and Topher.

Just then, the doorbell rang! As much as she didn't want to, Harper grudgingly got up and trudged towards the door. She opened it to see her two best friends outside.

"Hey!"

"Oh it's just you guys" Harper muttered, as she went back to lie on the couch.

Griffin and Savannah just shared a weird glance.

"Looks like someone woke up from the wrong side of the couch" Griffin joked.

Harper grunted, as she shoved a pillow into her face. It wasn't long till Harper's mom came into the living room.

"Harper, did the cake arrive yet?"

"No," She groaned, her voice sounding muffled through the pillow.

Just then the doorbell rang. At the same time, Jess's phone started to ring. She retrieved the phone from her pocket.

"Crap! It's the caterer. I have to take this-"

"No it's okay, Ms. Dunn. I'll get it," Griffin said.

"Oh thank you! You are a lifesaver,"

He laughed as he went to open the door. Jess picked up the phone and walked into the kitchen. Savannah was now left with a worn out Harper, on the couch. She took a seat next to her best friend.

"Harper? You still alive?"

"No. I think I've died,"

Harper pulled her face away from the pillow, before sitting upright.

"I never thought being a wedding planner was too exhausting. Good thing this is the first and last time I'm ever doing this,"

"Don't worry, Harper. Look I know you're stressed about this but everything is going to be alright,"

"You sure?"

"Absolutely," Savannah assured.

"Alright, cake's here!"

They turned to see Griffin, carrying a white box in his grasp.

"I'm going to put this in the kitchen,"

"Sure, thanks Griff" Harper thanked.

He smiled at her before making his way. Just then, Harper's mom came back.

"Okay, caterers done! Dresses done! What about the cake?"

"Griff's got it mom," Harper said.

"Okay then let's see..."

As Jess was going through everything, Griffin popped back into the living room.

"Savannah, can I uh...see you in the kitchen?"

"Is everything okay?" Harper asked, going straight back into panic mode.

"What happened?" Jess asked too, when she heard her daughter.
