Jake was very worried and his concern grew when he heard Hee sniffling "hyung whats wrong? lets sit first.... I'll bring you wat-" he stopped when Hee wrapped both of his arms around Jake, stopping him from doing anything

Jungwon stood up and called them, "Where were you guys till now?"
"At the building," Heeseung lowered his eyes and continued walking, while Jake stood at his spot without uttering a single word.
"Do you guys have any plans to explain, or are you going to keep pretending like nothing happened?" Silence enveloped the room. The atmosphere of the usually happy dorm was now heavy and tense.
Heeseung closed his eyes and sighed heavily. He knew what Jungwon was feeling, and he even anticipated this confrontation, but the truth is, he is still not ready for it.
Jake managed himself from crying and spoke up, "We are sorry, Jungwon-ah. We didn't want this to happ-"
"Hyung, have you ever thought of the consequences? If our career gets destroyed, will you take the responsibility?" Jungwon snapped.
Jay intervened swiftly, gripping Jungwon's arm to contain his anger. Everyone else was shocked; they had never witnessed Jungwon behave like that, especially toward Jake and Heeseung, two members whom he admires the most.
Sunoo gasped, his hands covered his agape mouth, while Niki and Sunghoon exchanged glances of shock and confusion.
Jungwon was being disrespectful toward the elder members by talking to them in this tone, but he was not realizing it. The emotional turmoil inside him was leading him to be like this.
As a leader, Jungwon supports his members wholeheartedly in whatever they do, but maybe this time the couple crossed the line.
It was heart-wrenching for both Heeseung and Jake to hear those words from the younger. Jungwon is their baby brother; they adore him, also respect him as an individual. They knew they messed up when the most caring and loving leader is mad at them.
The situation is getting out of hand, so Jay decides to step in. "Let's sit down first and give them a chance to explain," Jay's eyes looked at Jungwon convincing him to consider the big picture.
Jungwon returned to his seat without a word. Jay and Sunghoon took their seats beside Jungwon on the couch, while Niki and Sunoo settled on the carpet.
The only people standing in the room were Jake and Heeseung; all eyes were on them.
Jake wanted to speak, but his voice got stuck in his throat. He breathed I'm and out as he tried to gather his courage; he felt Heeseung's fingers intertwined with his. He turned his head to look at Heeseung, who looked ready to tell the truth.
"We are together," Heeseung said. Jake lowered his head and blinked, avoiding the eyes of his members. He felt awfully guilty about the situation.
"We've been dating for the past six months," he continued.
"What is this, a prank?" Niki scoffed and laughed, grabbing everyone's attention.
The dead silence in the room answered his question. He looked at the other people's faces. "Wait, are you being serious?"
Suddenly, disgust appeared on his face. He watched how tightly Heeseung held Jake's hand.
"I can't believe this... You guys are couple, and not just any, but each other?" As a kid, he was in disbelief.
His words made the couple look down in shame; they felt awfully embarrassed about their relationship.
I think after being together, they forgot for a moment that even if gay couple exists, it is not that well normalized. They briefly forgot about the reality which is giving them a difficult time right now.
"I want you two to break up," Jungwon said and received sudden looks from everyone.
"I don't care if you guys have been together for six months; I can't risk our team because of all this."
Heeseung was out of words. He looked at Jungwon with a serious resting face and received the same. This kid was dead serious.
"You guys have 24 hours to decide, or else you will be in big trouble," the leader said and walked to his room. He slammed the door closed, and silence surrounded the living room.
After the leader left, Jake went into deep thoughts.
"I agree with Jungwon hyung." Niki, who was also lost in deep thought, spoke.
"Enough, Niki; you are not old enough to talk in these matters." Jay scolded.
"Old enough?" He scoffed. "Hyung, I worked hard day and night to be where I am today. I won't sit back when it comes to my future." He said and walked out of the living room towards the kitchen.
Jake guided Heeseung to his bedroom. He sat down, and the elder immediately followed and sat in front of him.
"Let's end this," Jake's voice unwavered
Heeseung was dumbstruck by the words the younger just spewed. His eyebrows furrowed, asking him why, "Jake, we don't need to do thi-"
"We do, hyung, we do. I can't see our team fall apart because of us."
"Jake, no... You know how hard this was for me. Do you want me to go through the same pain? Do you want me to make a fool out of myself all over again?" He stood up in frustration, placed a hand on his waist as he flipped his hair.
"Hyung, you need to understand. Jungwon has a strong point. Think about what will happen if-"
"I DON'T WANT TO THINK THAT WAY, JAKE. Can't you understand?"
"You are being unreasonable, hyung. Will you be able to bear it, if your hard-earned career gets destroyed because of your stubbornness?"
Heeseung didn't answer.
"We have our whole life ahead of us. Our families depend on us. It's not a good idea to continue this relationship."
"And you are saying this after six months of our relationship?" Angry tears welled up in Heeseung's eyes. Hurt evident on his face.
"I'd rather admire you from afar than sacrifice our team. Too much is at risk. I can't live with the guilt if our downfall is because of us." He looked down as he spoke.
"Fine, do whatever you want." Heeseung was frustrated; he hates this situation, where he has to choose between Jake and his career.
He just wants to run from this state of affairs, so that's what he did. Heeseung walked out of the dorm, not knowing where he'll go.
In the room, Jake, who was left alone, for one more time, the elder left him agaim when he needs him the most.
He wants to make Heeseung understand that there is nothing more important than their job. All the members, including him and Heeseung, had worked day and night for this, and if all of their hard work will go in vain because of him, then he'll die of guilt.
Tears fell from his eyes onto his thighs; soft sniffling filled the empty room.
In the face of their choices everything fell apart.
