(Start in the darkness dimension on the other side of the door. LEO, EMMA, and BALAN emerge from the glow coming from the door. There is blue mist filling the room, and the ground ripples like water with each footstep.)
Leo-Okay, this is not as horrifying as I was expecting.
(The door closes behind them.)
Leo-And we're stuck.
(LANCE appears in front of them.)
Lance-So you actually decided to arrive.
Emma-Yeah, we did. We're not going to let you manipulate people anymore.
Balan-Including Iben.
Leo/Emma-Huh?
(BALAN marches towards LANCE.)
Balan-Why did you do it? She was in a loving relationship with her fiance. Sure, she hadn't spoken to him in a while, but she loved him, and you ruined that!
Lance-Ruined? I don't think I ruined anything. She was thinking of returning to Klaus, so I decided to convince her otherwise.
Balan-By seducing her?
Lance-What was it you told them? (points at LEO and EMMA) That I'd go to great lengths to get what I want?
Balan-I already knew you were willing to sacrifice other people's well-being to get what you want, but to ruin people's lives? I thought you were better than that, Lance. I hope that was the Negati influencing you to do that and not the man behind them choosing to.
Lance-I'm sorry. Isn't there a fight we should be getting to?
Balan-Don't change the subject on me!
(LANCE shoves BALAN to the ground. BALAN sighs and looks up at LEO and EMMA.)
Balan-Are you ready to trust in yourself and your friends?
Emma-What are you talking about?
Balan-I have an errand to run.
(He disappears. Opening theme.)
Emma-Um...okay.
(She and LEO start walking forward. Negati start popping up around them.)
Lance-Well well well, it looks like your trusted guide has bailed on you, negativity surrounds you, and you've gotten yourself into a game that you can't win. Honestly, I don't know why you'd leave Wonderworld when you're still so, so broken. Don't you remember why you're in here?
(Flashback to EMMA's house in episode 1. There is a sepia filter over the picture. EMMA peeks through the door.)
Emma-Good morning.
(The maids see her and gasp. They start walking down the stairs. Cut to downstairs. The fourth maid emerges from the door.)
Emma-What is it?
Maid-Uh, nothing. Happy birthday.
(She closes the door. EMMA continues walking towards the front doors as the maids whisper behind her, their whispers getting louder and louder. EMMA grabs onto the doorknobs. Cut to the park in the city. The boy and the girl clap and run up to LEO.)
Boy-Hey. That was pretty cool. You wanna come dance with us?
Leo-Um, I'd rather not, thank you.
(Cut to LEO looking down at the basketball, then at the boy and the girl waving to him.)
Basketball Boy-Mind throwing that back to us?
(LEO keeps walking. Return to the present with a flash of white light. LEO and EMMA are shielding their eyes.)
