Ingredients
6 Large eggs.
180mL (3/4 cup) Milk
2 tbsp Sugar
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
1 tsp Vanilla extract
8 Slices of bread
Butter for greasing
Directions
1. Heat a nonstick pan over medium-low heat.
2. In a large bowl, whisk in the eggs until well combined, add the milk, sugar, salt, cinnamon, and vanilla extract and whisk until completely combined.
3. Working in batches, dip each slice of bread in the custard, letting soak for 20-60 seconds on each side, until fully saturated but not soggy.
4. Lightly grease the pan with butter. Once melted, add the soaked bread to the pan and cook until golden brown and Crispy, about 2 minutes more. Wipe the pan clean between batches and add more butter.
5. Serve the French toast with a pat of butter, a drizzle of syrup and berries.
