As the hands of the clock crept closer to 5 PM, Rain couldn't contain his excitement.

He was practically vibrating out of his seat, his leg bouncing in anticipation.

He sat fidgeting, unlocking his phone every few seconds to see if any new messages had popped up.

Nothing. That's good.

No change in plans then. He smiled stupidly at his phone,

The professor was droning on and on winding down towards the finish line of this 2.5-hour class but he barely heard a word.

He would have to borrow the notes from someone to make sure he didn't miss anything important. But that was a problem for Monday, not today.

This was his last class of the week, and it was Friday afternoon. There were only four weeks left of this semester. Of this year. Then the summer break and new, exciting things to look forward to!

Right now, though, all he could think about was spending the whole weekend with his boyfriend. A giddy smile bloomed on his face.

They would have the apartment all to themselves. His boyfriend shared an apartment with his younger brother who was going away with his best friend's family to the beach over the next three days.

He daydreamed for the remainder of the class and pulled himself back to awareness when he felt the other students start to fidget and move around as they anticipated the end of the class. This class was the last thing standing between them and a fun, drunken night or party weekend.

The minute hand crept closer to the o'clock mark. The professor wrapped up the lesson, reminded them about next week's assignments, and closed his computer.

Rain jumped out of his seat, shoved the slim unused laptop into his backpack, and ran out of the classroom.

His smile only grew wider as he sprinted down the hallway slickly dodging other students who were milling about or loping at a more sedate pace, flew down the flight of stairs, and hurtled towards the exit.

He didn't even try to act cool as he burst through the glass doors at the front of the lecture hall. He was about as cool as a kindergartner dying to see his mother at the end of his first day of school.

As he knew he would be, he saw his boyfriend waiting for him leaning languidly against his ferocious-looking big bike.

That made him slow his steps down even as his heartbeat quickened.

How was this god-of-a-man his?? How had he gotten so lucky?

His nostrils flared as he took in the large man in the black leather motorcycle jacket, long jean-clad legs that went on for miles, and a face that belonged on billboards and magazines.

The amazing part was that he was unaware or at the very least uninterested in all the admiring and come-hither stares that were being tossed his way by both men and women.

His boyfriend glanced back at the entry and spotted him. A big smile bloomed on his face and then lit his beautiful dark eyes.

That got Rain's legs pumping again as he ran the last few steps and launched himself into his boyfriend's waiting arms, "P'Phayu!! I missed you!"

"My Rain," the big man purred, his voice drenched with affection and warmth. "You just saw me yesterday," he said with a wide smile as his arms wrapped around the squirming happy boy in his arms. He buried his nose into Rain's soft, fragrant hair, thinking as always that he smelled and felt like warm sunshine, the very opposite of his name.

Neither of them paid any attention to the envious glances thrown their way. Rain's classmates had gotten used to seeing the two of them together in the 4 months that they had been officially dating.

"You ready?" Phayu asked as he put the passenger helmet on Rain's head, strapped it under his chin, and tenderly stroked back the hair that was falling across his forehead.

Rain nodded happily, eyes shining, body vibrating.

"Is this everything?" Pointing to his school backpack.

"Yes," Rain said, knowing that Phayu already had extra supplies and toiletries for him at his apartment and that he had very strategically left enough of his own clothes that a weekender bag was unnecessary for times like these when he stayed over. And if he had to wear some of his boyfriend's clothes that were a few sizes too big to laze around, well that was even better.

He hopped on the pillion behind Phayu and wrapped his arms joyously and possessively around his boyfriend, pressing his cheek and chest tightly against the broad back thinking that this was one of his most favorite things in the entire world...

...Well, besides what they would undoubtedly be doing in about 14 minutes he thought with a lusty smirk.

But who's counting?

His unapologetic laugh was drowned out by the roar of the engine as the big bike pulled onto the road and toward their little private escape.
