Chapter 5

A few days later , my friends and I -well mostly them- decided to go to a club. Apparently it was owned by a close friend of Tyler as usual, he knows everyone. I didn't mind going though, I actually enjoy just sitting around oogling guys while sipping my cocktail, sad but true.

Our other friends were coming with us, Daniel and Amidala. They were from another department but we were pretty close.

We got ready at Dannys apartment, gossiping and all that. I haven't told anyone about the encounter at the library because I didnt think it was necessary and to avoid all the teasing.

"Ready for the hot guys!?" Danny asked excitedly. Amidala flicked her hair back "You mean, are the hot guys ready for me?"

On cue Tyler walked in "You girls ready?" Causing us to laugh at him. He looked at us confused "What?"

We arrived at the club and Paradox was written in bold white letters that had a cool bright glow. Looks like a high class club and considering the long line, its safe to assume that only snobby rich people people get to get in easily. I snorted mentally.

As we got out of the car, I could hear Danny complaining about the line "The line is so fucking long!"

Then Tyler pats Daniel's back and said "I got this."

For a moment, we all looked at him, confused. But then again its Tyler. Knowing him, he's probably best friends with the bouncer.

So we walked towards the entrance, and as we walked, people in the line kept staring at us.
Mira was next to me and I could see that she was hastingly tugging down her dress. I furrowed my eyebrows. This was not her scene, I mean this wasn't my scene either but she doesn't need to do that. I put a hand over hers to stop her and she looked at me.

"Stop , you look great."

From her still worried expression, That did not work.

"Is it just me or is everyone looking at us?"

I looked at everyone on the line and shrugged "They are, probably angry on why were not in the back of the line" I grinned sheepishly.

I went to hold her hand "But you know what let them look, you are gorgeous and dotn let anyone telly you otherwise." I stated firmly.

Finally, her eyes aren't clouded with insecurities anymore as she took a deep breath and smiled slightly.

"Lets have fun tonight" I declared "And by fun I mean sit with me as we look at hot guys" I added, Mira laughing at my statement.

And then out of nowhere Daniel walked between us and then put his arms around the both of us.

"Lets go!"

A short while later, I had just dragged Daniel away from the VIP room to leave only Mira and Theo there, I grinned michievously.

"Hey A ! hold up" Danny pulled at my hand. Oh right I was still holding him. I turned around.

"Whats up?" I asked inoccently

"Don't act innocent with me. You don't dance but I see what you did there" He winked at me and bumped shoulders with mine. Playing matchmaker wasn't really my thing but Id make and exception for Mira.

I laughed "What? I thought it was a good idea to leave them alone, you know so Theo can make his move"

"But knowing Mira she'd probably avoid talking to him every chance she'll get" He replied knowingly.

I shrugged "True, but who knows?" I grinned and pulled him by the hand as we head down the stairs of the club.

"Now come on let do the usual, I'll go grab a cocktail from the bar while you grind on some guys" I stated casually with a grinned

"What? I don't do that everytime we go to a club" He spoke in disbelief as we reach the bar.
"Uh, yes you do" I sat on one of the stools. He rolled his eyes at me.

"One appletini please" I ordered to the bartender. My favorite, a little plain but I love it.
"Right away Miss" And then he went away to make my drink.

I turned to Daniel, He was looking at the crowd on the dance floor.The purple lights were everywhere and the music was booming, everyone was dancing wildly.

"I wonder where Allie is" I thought to myself.

"Probably getting lucky with Xavier" Daniel answered with an envious voice.

Yup Xavier, he was one hell of a good looking guy. No one would believe he was the owner of this club. He looked young, highly decorated body with tattoos and chocolate eyes that screamed trouble.

"Totally Allie's type" I smirked
"So anyway, Find any propects yet Danny?" I said teasingly.

"Shut up, you make it sound like and looking for someone to buy a house and lot" He retorted, I grinned.
"Well, you are -" He cutted me off. I furrowed my eyebrows. Whats with him now? "Hold that thought"

I followed his line of eyesight and it landed on a man across the room, what the- "Oh my God, Angel that-" I tuned him out, all I could see was Icy blue eyes staring back at me. His lips were curved into a irresistible smirk, and I could feel my heartbeat fasten.

Was this happening? Was my incredibly hot math professor in the same club as I was? I groaned inwardly, did this not look good, he now probably thinks Im some party girl and doesn't study, so much for passing Maths. Suddenly I was pulled away from my thoughts when Danny snapped his fingers in front of me
"Hello? Earth to Angel?"

I shook my head "Uh what were you saying" I pursed my lips while looking around. "He's gone" I heard Danny say. I snap my head back to him "What are you talking about?" I pretended to be oblivious".

He just rolled his eyes and shook his head while smirking " Oh stop it, I saw you making googly eyes with that hot stranger, he seemed to know you? Since when did you talk to hot guys?"

I push him playfully and rolled my eyes "Shut up, and for your information I talk to hot guys all the time" He just raised and eyebrow "Could have fooled me A"

"Heres your drink beautiful" The bartender winked and passed me my drink.

"Thank you" I smiled at him and immediately took a sip of my martini, yum.

Daniel leaned his elbow on the bar "But seriously A, who was that? You have got to give me deets on someone who looks like a God!" He fangirled.

I bit my lip, it couldn't have been him right? Maybe it was just the lights playing tricks on me. I sighed "I honestly dont know Danny, he looked like someone I knew but it probably wasn't him."

He groaned and slumped his shoulders "Guess I'll have to find some other guy."

I laughed "Yeah, now shoo and leave me and my drink be."

"You sure youre gonna be okay by yourself?" He asked in concern.

"Of course, Im a big girl."

"Just scream if you need me" I nodded. And with that he left ,leaving me and my martini alone.

Theres a little part of me, wishing it was him but that was probably the crazy part of me. I mean why would my Math Proffesor be here, its a club , a high class club but a club none the less. And then I woudn't know how I would explain to him why I was in a club instead of studying. Pssh. I sighed and face the bar. I twirled my drink in my hand, should I go check up on Mira? Nah.

"Feeling lonely Ms. Morgan?" A deep baritone voice questione . I was so startled I almost spilled my martini. My eyes widened as I looked at the source of the voice and I was met with icy blue eyes and a smirk decorated his lips.

"Mr. Wilson?" I managed to say. My eyes widened at his sudden appearance. This is just great.
