"I like you as well but in a parallel universe, because in this life at least it's not possible. Stop making things difficult for me." She said.
"I- did I do something wrong?"
"No" she said, her voice cracked.
"See, there are ways to deal with this okay? I just can't let you go"
"You're making it difficult Ahaan." She cried.
"Tell me what I can do to make everything right. I need to know what's wrong to fix it." I almost pleaded.
"You can't fix anything"
"Stop crying Antipriya"
"My name isn't Antipriya" she chuckled.
"What is it then?"
"Something, that might've gone well with your name" she said with a sad smile.
"You... I.....see if I did something wrong, then I'm really sorry and I'll fix it I promise."
"Ahaan you're way too good for me I guess. But that's it. This is the end if we ever had anything in between us."
END. Her words pierced my heart. For the first time in 21 years of my existence, I liked someone and she's asking me to GO AWAY?

"Thank you" I can see she's blushing.

"I'm leaving for New York the day after tomorrow, for my master's, so I wanted to gift you something before leaving."
"What's your age?" She asked.
"I'm 21. You?"
"You shouldn't be asking a girl her age" she joked.
"Of course. You're younger than me or older?"
"Younger obviously."

"So birthday girl, how's your day so far?"
"It's good, very good." She said playing with her fingers.
"You're lying," I said
"I'm not."
"I'm not asking I'm telling you that I know you're lying."
"You should leave before someone sees us together." She said looking around.
"Can I ask something?"
"Hmm," she looked at me.
"Do you like someone else?"
"Nooooo, it's not what you're thinking."
"What according to you I'm thinking?" I asked stepping closer to her, and she immediately stepped back.
