You already know what time it is, bitches! NEW CHAPTER!!obviously that's why your here tho... Why am I so exited? Because I've had writers block and for the first story, half of it had been written and saved in my notes app! (No, I have not gone through my notes, and no I don't want to. Im... honestly kinda scared to go through my notes app...)

(This also takes place about a week after they defeated Belos. Just wanted to clarify)

Fiddlesticks is in this story, and I dont know much, but from what i can see (and in my au) about Hunter and Flapjack, (R.I.P. Flappy😭) witches can understand and speak to their palisman. Also, I put Fiddlesticks as a girl in this story, so correct me if Fidds has a different gender. Please correct me if im wrong. Please. I'm also open to story suggestions, but I already have ideas for chapter 4. Chapter 3 however, is gonna be probably the least angsty chapter, and I'm sorry about that. One of my friends wanted me to write a nice chapter for chapter 3, and i said why not, sooo.... ya.

Also, thank you WriterFrom_Hell for the tip about writing the story In paragraphs. I feel like it helped keep my story a bit more organized, and it was easier to write. So thank you!

Raine walked down the stairs with a yawn, softly guiding their hand along the coffee colored side rail. The house was uncomfortably quiet, aside from the animals outside, and the soft popping from the stairs. Raine stretched as they reached the bottom and searched the room, noticing Fiddlestick curled up and asleep on the back of the couch. They smiled and walked over to the cabinets, reaching up and grabbing out a bag of tea and mug. They grabbed a kettle aswell and closed the cabinet softly, creating a faint thump as it closed. Raine put water in the kettle and set it on the stove, waiting for the contents to boil.

Meanwhile, Fiddlestick had woken up and had began to trot over to Raine, her tiny paws making a soft clicking sound as her nails hit the floor. She jumped onto the counter and sat, waiting for her owner to notice her. After about a minute, she became impatient and huffed, still not getting their attention. She nuzzled up to Raine, her cold nose rubbing against their ribs and finally getting their attention.

"Morning Fidds."

Raine spoke softly, turning around and scratching their palismans head with a smile.

"Why up so early?"

Fiddlesticks squeaked, tilting her head to the side. She knew they would usually get up around 8, but 7 is a bit early. The only sunlight reaching the house was from the sun faintly showing from the distant titan bones on the aisles.

"I don't know."

Raine shrugged, scratching Fiddlesticks back. A smile formed on her face, yet it was very faint. Raine then crouched down and allowed Fiddlesticks onto their shoulder. Fiddlestick jumped onto their shoulder, and Raine stood up again, resting their arms on the counter and leaning back. Fiddlesticks rubbed her face against theirs, her soft and warm paws resting on their shoulder. Raine smiled from Fiddlesticks show of affection, knowing she was one of the most important things in their life.

As the water finished boiling, Raine poured it into their mug and put the tea bag in. Fiddlesticks seemed fascinated by this, even though she had seen them do this for almost 30 years.

"You want my tea?"

Raine said in a playful tone, getting a nod from their palisman. She got excited when they lifted the string on the tea bag, holding it up in her reach.

"String."

She squeaked again, pressing a paw on their face and using her other paw to tug at the string. Raine laughed and walked over and sat by the window, gazing at what was now the rebuilt aisles. It was peaceful, and they never thought they would be able to see the beautiful sunrise after what happened after the say of unity.
