pt.3 (idk what to name these😫)

Just so you know, this is the chapter where all the problems start...

Temporarily for Raine, I mean.

And where I star-

"Luz and Camila are supposed to be here soon. You don't remember?"

No

Eda hadn't remembered that Luz was coming over. It was Saturday, the weekend, so why wouldn't she? Eda had actually completely forgotten about everything that was happening that day.

"I think you and Luzs bread puns are doing something to me, kiddo. I completely forgot about that."

She pointed her empty mug at him, then took one last bite of her eggs.

"The others are coming too. I know you knew about this yesterday because i read about it in your diary." King smiled

"You read my diary?!"

Edas eyes widened and she turned red, she could feel her face heating up. She wrote some pretty embarrassing stuff in there that let's just say if Luz read it...

"Maybe? And i looked under your closet floorboards while i was at it!"

King shot Eda the finger guns, and Eda felt like crawling into a hole forever.

Why not let the fairies get her?

"I mean, what else am I supposed to do when I'm awake at 2 in the morning?"

"King! I oughta break every bone in your-"

Suddenly, they all heard a knock on the door.

"Thank the titan."

King muttered, and shot up and opened the door, Luz and Camila standing on the other side.

"King!"

Luz ran in and scooped him up, spinning with him in her arms.

"Too tight, I'm gonna be sick."

King said as Luz put him down. She had forgotten that any sort of motion off the ground would make him sick.

Based on personal experiences

"Sorry buddy. I'm just so happy to see you."

Luz crouched down and gave King belly rubs, his response being small giggles. Luz stood back up and closed the front door after Camila stepped inside.

"Where's Eda?"

Luz asked King, thinking she was still asleep. King pointed to the kitchen, and walked in with Luz and Camila.

"Eda!"

Luz said, running up to her as she set her mug in the sink. Luz tightly hugged her, and probably cut off the circulation in her arm(s), yet she didnt care.

"Hey kiddo."

Eda said, hugging her back and ruffling her hair. Luz giggled as she did, her finger almost tangling in her short, curly brown hair.

"Hey Luz."

Luz jumped a bit, not knowing where the voice was coming from. She looked behind Eda and saw Raine sitting by the window.

"Oh! Hey Raine."

Luz smiled and waved a bit, getting a smile in response from Raine. Luz noticed Fiddlestick sitting on their head and giggled.

"Hey kid, I gotta go get ready. You can set your stuff in your room, alright. Just don't let King go through the box labeled 'spiders'. Or read my diary again." She glared at King.

"Why?"

Luz asked, wondering why she would have something so subtle on a box.

"For 1, little guy is deathly afraid of spiders, and 2-"

Eda put her hand in front of her mouth to hide it from Kings view, though she wasn't quiet enough.

"It had all the snack the E.C. took from the house."

Kings eyes lit up, and he squeeled.

"SNACKS?!"

Eda palmed her face.

"Knew I shouldn't have said that, but I did anyways."

Luz laughed at her reaction, and she walked towards the stairs.

"I'm gonna go get ready. Take care of King for me Rainestorm, will ya?"

Eda asked, pointing her half arm at them.

"W-what? But i have no exper-"

"Alright, thanks! Byae!"

She called from the stairs, running up and slamming her door so she wouldnt have to take responsibility for King. Raine internally cursed at themselves, thinking the kids would bombard them with questions or overwhelm them. They were surprised to discover they were actually surprisingly calm.

Meanwhile, Eda quickly got dressed and ready, heading back downstairs to see Luz and Raine talking, with King asleep on Camilas lap.

"Sorry I didn't make breakfast for you two. If I had known you were coming this early I would have."

Eda chuckled, sitting back down with some more apple blood.

"You did know, Eda. You just forgot."

King said in a petty voice, holding his chin up to try and look goofy and intimidating at the same time.

"Oh, whatever. You fall into the toilet at least once a day. It's basically a hobby pulling you out now."

Camila and Luz started laughing, but Raine looked disgusted. Falling into the toilet happened to their glasses a few times, but not as often as you'd think they did.  They always had a fun time getting them out though, especially that one time they set them down so they could brush their teeth and go to bed, but ended up knocking them in.

'Never put your glasses on the bathroom counter' they constantly repeated to themselves at night.

Everyone was enjoying the company of each other until everyone else arrived, and were talking and having fun. The only bad thing?

It didn't take much for Raine to become overstimulated and overwhelmed.

Especially by people.

Why has that been stuck in my head? Dunno. Anyway, i know I haven't posted in a while, but I have a great excuse!

I'm lazy... and had no motivation to even do this. I was gonna go so far as to pay someone else to do it, but I have almost the perfect scene for chapter four. For now, I'm gonna try and post 1-2 times a month, but maybe more, or less, depending on the week/month and my motivation. Yes, I still need therapy, and yes I have been stressed out about my brother recently due to health issues with his knee (gonna sue his knee, and how he dragged his leg during marching band, like stop it dude! But it's too late now...) And I think he's gonna need surgery because either could be chronic...
