Wild Vengeance 3: "The Cold-hearted Elder" (Finished)

   I woke up from my slumber when I felt something all over my face. Feeling still sleepy, I fought the urge to go back to sleep and opened my eyes to look at the cause.

"Good morning, boss. Rise and shine."

I grimaced when it was just the prick waking me up. He's grinning first thing in the morning. He leaned in and gave me a peck on my forehead.

  "Get up na." Then kissed me on my nose. "I love you." And then my lips.

I pushed him inches away from me to stop him from giving me butterfly kisses.

"You really woke me up just for that?"

"Whoah! Why so grumpy early in the morning, boss?"

"Really? You're asking? Pinuyat mo ako kagabi!"

There's his grin again. Argh! He really likes teasing me even after I am pissed off already.

"1 am naman tayo natulog ah. You've had 6 hours of sleep already. Okay na yun."

"If it weren't for your nonstop movie marathon, I would've had 8 hours of sleep by now."

  He wanted us to watch a movie last night. And of course, I was okay with that since it's only past 9 pm and I was done with coding and all stuff. It started with an action movie he requested us to watch. And when it finished, I thought we'll sleep. But then he started offering another movie genre. It was romance. I was hesitant but I'm no match for his persuasion. I gave it a go saying it'll be the last. Not until we finished another one, and then he requested another one...all I could remember was me dozing off to sleep while the movie is still going on.

  "I told you I will be busy with the sales today but look at what you did?"

"Oh! Ano ba ang ginawa ko?"

"Really?" I asked sarcastically.

  He responded to me with a chuckle.
"C'mon, boss. It's been 3 days since we got back together. Where's my 'good morning' kiss?"

   Him with pursed lips had me smiling. He can be very persistent and irritating at most times but he does know how to make me smile after all that. He's been very childish these days. He's enthusiastic, he has energy for almost everything. He said he's happy. Well, I am too. I've never felt so light in the past 5 years. I've never felt this pain-free in the past years. 3 days exactly today since that scene between me and Mafyia at the cafè, and at the tomb of our boy. And I'm just as happy as he is with my choice.

  I fixed my position lying on my back and opened my arms for him. He got the idea and quickly enveloped himself in my arms for a hug. I encircled my arms around his neck as I pulled him closer for a kiss.

"Good morning" I said in between our kiss.

It was yesterday morning when he all of a sudden asked me to always give him 'good morning kisses'. I said yes to that of course. I love the man and it's the least I could do for him. Ha! It feels good to let this feeling out. I'm just hoping our boy is happy seeing us right now.

Our eyes locked after that deep sensational kiss we shared. I smiled at him.

"I've always been in love with your smile, boss. It's making my heart beat irregularly. I also love how you're so masungit, how you're easily annoyed, when you're pissed, when you're sweet—which occurs once in a blue moon by the way. I love you."

"And why are you using your talent early this morning?" I am pertaining to his flattering words. He's making use of them more than he does before, back when we are still not in good terms. He does have that talent in him and if not for our relationship will I reach my conclusion.
