The sound of another whistle concludes the game, and also the signal that Nekoma High officially won the round to advance to the semifinals.

Y/N didn't know that she'd be so invested in the game that she never paid much attention before, but seeing how their team play made her one to know more about it.

During the game, her curiosity got the best of her from time to time about the game's technicalities and she was thankful that she have a seatmate that knows a lot about it. Akaasheee (as the owl guy, now she found out named Bokuto, called him) was very patient in explaining everything to her.

"Thank you so much, Akaasheee."

She bowed and pronounced his name just the way Bokuto did earlier, which earned a few laughs from his team.

The boy just smiled at him and chuckled himself.

"It's Akaashi. Akaashi Keiji. Please send my congratulations to your team, L/N."

He bowed before following his teammates who also bid their goodbyes at her, to which she returned.

Looking back at the court where the team is celebrating, she can't help but smile to herself seeing their smiling faces, especially that one person who always seem to get her attention.

She decided to leave as well remembering that there's a vending machine nearby, wanting to give him a simple congratulatory gift, as well as the game friend she made a while back.

Y/N bought 2 bottles of sport's drinks from the vending machine, and hurriedly went back to the stadium to catch up with the team.

It wasn't that hard to spot them since they are a bunch of tall guys. Unfortunately, a lot of stufents are also gathering around them to congratulate them for their victory.

There are singing and shouting in the crowd to celebrate. Of course, Kuroo is one of them but not without getting on their libero's nerves that started another fight between the two.

Y/N was preparing herself to squeeze in the crowd.

Being an introvert and who hates going in crowded places, it is already a miracle that she managed to watch the game, even leave their house and ride the train.

You can do it! Give him the drinks! Let's go!

She was about to take another step when she saw another female student called out to the taller player and handed him a drink with a smile, to which he gladly accepted.

She stared at the bottles of drinks in her hands then back at the tall second year who took a big swig of the drink that was handed to him.

Her hands gripped tightly on the bottles and her breath was caught off. There was an unexplainable clench in her chest, and a heat in her cheeks by just seeing him show off his wide smile at the female student who is blushing at him. She was a pretty girl too.

Probably prettier and his type.

There goes the confidence she tried to build up.

With a heavy sigh, she placed the bottles on the side, beside the bags that laid on the floor, which she is guessing are from the players, and took another glance at the crowd before exiting the stadium.

The crowd that she will never be a part of.

What she didn't notice is the setter sitting on the floor who is avoiding the crowd himself just a few feet beside the bottles she placed in.

Kenma paused the game he is trying to catch up on because during their game, there was an ongoing event for that video game that he doesn't want to miss.

He reached out for one of the bottles and watch her exit the stadium, just in time that Kuroo escaped from the crowd to join him.

"Oh? You bought drinks for us? That's thoughtful of you, Kenma."

Kuroo was about to grab the bottle in his hand but Kenma was quick enough to open it for himself and take a drink.

"Go buy your own."

"You're still so mean, Kyanma~"
