The Temple of Fox Spirits [part two]

Y/N went through the weeks of organizing the offerings that their temple was givin. Most organizations of the food in normal categories. Fruits and vegetables were the same, sweets was pretty small, wheat and dairy were the same yet larger then vegetables and fruits in amounts, and ofcourse the meat was the most plentiful.

Good thing Y/N is aware of the technics that humans use to persevere food, otherwise most of it would have went bad by now. Although the other fox spirits didn't approve of the "new ways", but they were helpful.

After all that organization, Y/N returned to the shine, their comfort area. They were exhausted, and really needed rest. But their low engery behaviour quickly disappeared when they saw Redson.

"Hello! Welcome back! I'm so happy to see you again!" Y/N exclaimed, running over to Redson and bouncing in place once by his side. Their nine tails were soft wagging, they were happy to seem him. That happy feeling was mutual, Redson was happy to see Y/N. But he immediately grew concerned when he noticed how tired they looked.

"Are you alright? You look very exhausted." He asked, genuinely concerned for Y/N's health.

"Yeah! I'm alright!" Y/N replied as they smiled. That smile did ease Redson a bit, but he was still concerned. So he motion for Y/N to sit next to him as he sat down on the shine's steps, to which Y/N sat down next to him. In an instant, Redson was hugging them, holding their head on his shoulder.

"I know that you're exhausted, you wear your heart on your sleeve. I have all day to be here. So get some rest." Redson explained, gently petting Y/N's head. He had noticed that Y/N was very open with his they were feeling, even if they tried to hide it.

"But-"

"No buts. You need sleep. I'll be here when you're awake." Redson stated, cutting Y/N off before they could protest.

He kept petting them, soothing them to sleep. Y/N started to and eventually fell asleep, snuggling into Redson's shoulder and curling up alittle in his arm. Redson giggled a bit, he thought that their snuggling was adorable.

"Cute. Sleep well ya fire fox."
