now we have to talk

2 months.
2 months passed since me and Jisung last talked.
After I asked him about what happened at Jacksons party, he didn't bother to talk to me again.
Well I still want answers and I'll get them.. when we're gonna talk again.

"Oh you look lost in thoughts sweetie", Evelyn greets me.
"Mm I kinda am.. anyway, I'll get you your cake and your drink"

I walk behind the counter, get her the cake and the hot chocolate, and go back to her.
Then I sit down in front of her and she looks at me.

"Soo.. you'll tell me what's up?"
"Well.. do you remember the day where I went home early? Like 2 months ago?"
"Well.. I'm old, but yes I remember"
"Well I went to a party on that day and-"
"You did? I would've given you more money if you would've told me"  Told you.
"I know.. but that's not the point.. on that evening I was pretty drunk and-"
"You? Really drunk?"
"Evelyn!"
"I'm sorry.. continue"
"Well.. a friend picked me up and brought me home and we uh.. kissed. But I don't know who started it and then I went to ask him about the evening. But he didn't mention the kiss at all. Like.. he just wanted to forget it"
"But you don't want to forget?"
"Well it hurt me that he didn't mention it.. that kinda hurt my heart. And I just wanna know why.."
"Oh sweetie.. I think you should just ask him. You won't get your answers otherwise"

Then a plate falls down and I turn around to see if I should help.
And who do I see standing there? Right, Jisung.
And according to his facial expression's, he listened to our conversation.
Well.. now we have to talk.

"So you knew about our kiss?", he asks me after we walked outside.
"Yeah.. I remembered it after I took the pill"
"And you didn't tell me?"
"Oh no you won't turn this around, you didn't tell me when I asked you"
"Well so we could forget it, make it never happened"
"So you wanna forget it?"
"Well.. you don't?"

And then I'm quiet.
Do I wanna forget it?
Should we continue being friends or do I actually wanna be more with him?
Cause honestly.. I already felt that little sparkle inside me when we first met.
But who am I to believe in love on first sight?
That just happens in fairy tales.. but maybe this is my fairy tale?
How poetic I am..

"I.. I actually don't know", I say after a while.
"You don't know?"
"We don't know each other for that long.. but I feel like there's something.. does that sound weird?"
"No it doesn't.. I kinda feel the same.. just was a little scared of your reaction to that kiss. That's why I didn't tell you"
"That's also why you didn't talk to me for 2 months?"
"..Yeah.. sorry"

We walk back inside and I apologise to Evelyn because I just left her alone.

"Oh don't worry sweetie.. that's probably him right?", she says and smiles, then she gives me the money.
"Evelyn.. you gave me too much.. again", I say while chuckling.
"I know", she says and leaves.

I shake my head a little and smile.
That woman..

"Who's that?", Jisung asks.
"A very good friend", I answer.
