Today was the day. Marrisa paced up and down the bakery front waiting for her mother to lock up. She began to feel slightly anxious to get to the High Court as she wanted he hearing to be over with. She couldn't stand waiting. It was horrible. She just wanted to know. Yes or no. Such a simple answer could change her life. Which is what she hadn't realised. Yes , would mean she is enlightened and safe , but a no could change her life forever. The Ravens take her and she never sees her family or Bennet again. She didn't want to leave her mother especially since her father passed. She had no one else to help in the bakery and as her mother is getting older without Marrisa she would have no help.

The thought scared Marrisa to pieces. She never wanted to leave her mum all on her own. It was hard enough for her when her father passed. Watching her mother go through the pain of loosing her soulmate was the hardest time in her life. Just watching her mother go to call into he back an order and he not be there to call back was the worst. She knew she couldn't filled the space in the bakery , her father was a big part of it. But she vowed to try her best and without her being there Lord know what would happen to her mother. As she locked up Marrisa's heart began to beat uncontrollably in her chest as the time go closer to her hearing. They walk slowly up the path to the High Court where people were gathered outside , awaiting her arrival. She put her good up on her cloak and nodded to the guards.
" Miss Marrisa you are in court 2 today." One of the Guards says and she smiles sadly
She walks towards court 2 and sighs. As soon as she walks in that door her life could change. The door opens and everyone stands as she walks in. Fear bubbles up inside her as she took her place in front of The Ravens. Her mother took a seat by Lady Harrison as she looked around for Bennet.
There he was sat in the dock and she smiled at him. Everyone sat down and The Ravens began the hearing. Marrisa's heart began to pound even faster as The Ravens began to read through the case. She looked over at Bennet who mouthed to her ' breathe.' Which made her smile. Hopefully fate would be on her side. She knew she had Bennet.
