Bennet paced around the courtyard like a crazy person. When someone walked up to him he shouted
" leave me alone. I didn't do anything." As he rubs his hands trying to get rid of the blood which wasn't actually staining his hands. Every hour he heard her scream. Every girl he saw he saw Marissa, calling his name desperately. It was taking its toll on him. Every waking hour bleeding into the next with no sleep. Days and nights were hard to,distinguish now for Bennet as he continuously paced around the courtyard like a ticking clock. Some would say like a ticking time bomb as he takes each step getting closer to exploding. Closer to the mental asylum or worse death. But no one was quite sure. He was the first enlightened special to end up like this. Saying that he was the first to be held responsible for the death of his beloved Marissa. He stepped forward. He provoked them. They stabbed her. It was simple really. But he doesn't want to believe it was all his fault. No normal person let alone a special would get their beloved killed on purpose. But Bennet did.
The Ravens were enjoying the madness taking its toll on him. It was like a circus show to them and Bennet was the star act. Their favourite was when he heard her scream. Watching his face etch with pain and collapse to the floor screaming was he best. They were getting stronger. Stronger than him. They were unstoppable now they sent an enlightened insane.
The Ravens were going to unleash hell on everyone. Make everyone's life a living hell. Make the. Wince every time they hear a knock at the door. To always look behind them because they feel followed. Living in fear was what they wanted. They thrive off it and now it was their time for total domination to confirm they are the leaders and who ever tries to hurt them will be punished or killed.
