The Ravens

They are inside Bennet's brain. The heart of him. Phase one was getting rid of Marissa breaking down his walls and now they are in his brain with no guard to penetrate. Which just made their job that little bit easier in taking him down before they are taken down by him. It was like a game he moves one step forward they,push him back two and vice versa. Neither gaining an advance on the other. They thought killing Marissa was their advance but it somehow made him stronger yet weaker at the same time. He was weaker due to his lover being killed but stronger as he had more strength to get revenge on The Ravens. Which back fired on them slightly.
But now they knew more about Bennet. The way his bran worked what made him tick. Therefore playing mind tricks on him about Marissa was perfect. The blood on his hands , her scream and her calling his name in distress were their secret weapon. Destroying his sanity. As he questioned reality and his mind fooling him. It was amazing to watch as he fell apart with each cry thinking his hands were covered in blood. As he tried to rub away the blood with each scrub nothing moving. To hear the desperation in his cries was satisfying for The Ravens. It's what they thrived on most. Having control and other people's misery. Hence the reason they kill the unconverted. They enjoy leaving people's lives in fractured pieces of what hey formerly were. To watch the families fall apart at the seams due to their actions. Now to do the same to a convert like Mr Harrison was a once in a lifetime opportunity.
Bennet's mind would first fall apart at the seams as he questions reality and his own emotional well being. Which only made The Ravens happier and more confident that they were the stronger ones. They could take down any one and anything even someone they converted. To play with them like a puppet was a break through for them which only made them question their powers even further. To test what strength they actually held. To cause even more pain and suffering on the unconverted to play with Mr Harrison even more. They were The Ravens puppets on a string. Their living dolls. Always getting new ones when the old ones revolt against them or cause any problems. That was The Ravens way. Play with something till it's broken then trade it for a new and improved one. One that lives,in fear of them . But there wasn't many of them any more and they needed to change that. Bennet was their key for that.
