At Prime’s Prison for the Empowered, The Teenage Association sat in their cells after being stopped by Officer Safety. They all had cells next to each other. They’ve tried to break out of there numerous times, but this prison was built out of the stone that Steve uses for his weapons.

Marcus sat down on the bed, disappointed that they weren’t able to accomplish the mission. This was the first time his peers ever saw him upset. Maigent kinda felt sorry for the guy. She stood in the far corner of her cell thinking to herself. Thinking if she would end up like her parents. She searched deep down into herself searching for the energy, the will, so that she could tear out of this cell and fly away to her real home.

Steve came down the hall, walking past each of their cells. He stopped in the middle where each of them could see him. He cleared his throat then began to speak.

“When I first heard about you, they made it seem like you guys were menacing. Filled with nothing but pure evilness. But last night, I was fooled. You aren’t a threat, you all are nothing but a bunch of godd*mn teenagers. Teenagers who go around robbing banks and taking the freedom away from everyday citizens. Now, I see why the other heroes don't even worry about you all. Y’all are jokes. Y’all are just some godd*mn teenagers.”

Marcus looked into Steve’s eyes. Steve stared back into his.

“You…” Steve said, referring to Marcus. “What really made you think that you could lead a team to ultimate dominance?”

Marcus didn’t say anything.

“And you, young lady.” He looked at Maigent. “I know who you are.”

“You don’t know sh*t about me.”

“I’d like to say otherwise-”

“I’d like to evaporate your entire skin off, shrink the Sun and stuff it right in y-”

“Daughter!” Steve exclaimed, as his vocals overridden Maigent’s. “Of Motherlord and Death Cage. The most dangerous couple the universe has ever seen. Your father, Death Cage, the man who murdered numerous heroes. Your mother, Motherlord, the woman who turned the most habitable planets into godd*mn death realms. She’s the true slayer of Jeff Cosmik.”

Maigent walked up closer to the glass barrier separating her from Steve.

“I know a lot about you. You’re the nuke that walks the Earth.”

Bobby walked up. He tapped on the barrier. “Uh, sir, you know you can’t really hold us in like this.”

“What?”

“I mean for a guy who calls himself ‘Officer Safety’ you should know that you can’t hold us in for a sentence unless we have a fair trial. It’s our rights.”

“Is that so…”

“Yep, it’s in the amendment.”

“Okay, fine. If it’s a trial y’all want, a trial y’all get.” Steve walked out of the hall.

The others looked at Bobby as he was smirking. And they all knew what that smirk meant, so they were wondering what crazy thing he had going on in that head of his.

“Bobby.” Mari called.

“Yes?”

“What was all of that about?”

“Nothing. I just believe in the law.”

“Bobby.” Mari looked at him with a straight face.

“Don’t worry, I know what I’m doing.”

“When we get out of here, we’re going straight to Canada.” Marcus said, holding his fist in his palm.

“What about the bomb thingy?” Carmen asked.

“Oh, I haven’t forgotten about that. We’re still building that ultimate weapon.”

“I’m pretty sure that guy in white has the bomb, though.” Jacob mentioned.

“He doesn’t. I believe that wasn’t even the real transport, they probably took an alternative route and the one we ambushed was just a distraction.” Maigent stated.

“Makes sense.”

“Well, in the words of JCole, fool me once, shame on you.”
