"Aww how beautiful!"
"Truly so divine!"
"Look at Them! Maybe They knew each other before birth."
Everyone gasped in awe and admiration looking at the cute and beautiful babies. They were adorable, and smiled at everyone who came to Them.
"Thank you so much Nanda Maharaj. You've finally solved My problem which had totally occupied My mind with worry. I offer My gratitude to You, as well as greetings from My Wife, who couldn't come here." He spoke with folded hands and teary eyes.
Nanda Maharaj was distributing sweets and had organised a huge ceremony for the entire village and neighbouring towns. Everyone was invited to the function and the entire Braj Bhoomi was echoing with joyous tunes.
Women sang songs, dancers and musicians were invited, fairs were organised, and huge feasts with delicious food were planned. It was no less than a festival and Nanda Maharaj Himself took care of everything and organised the grand fest.
Even amidst the busy celebrations and festivities, Nanda Maharaj had given time to listen to Vrishbhanu's concern. "It is My duty to look after people's needs, and You're the Chieftain of Barsana. I'm glad I could serve You and I shall be more happy to host You as Our guest. Please join Us in the celebrations of the birth of Our newborn baby."
Vrishbhanu did not know that Nanda Maharaj was also blessed with a baby boy. The last news He had heard about His family was that the wife of His Cousin, King Vasudev, had miraculously delivered a baby boy. Rohini had been living with Them ever since Vasudev and Devaki had been imprisoned by Kansa, the King of Mathura who also happened to be Devaki's brother.
Nanda Maharaj escorted Him to the cradle in which the baby boy slept peacefully. "Please grant Him Your blessings."
Vrishbhanu looked at the wonderful infant. He had curly locks of hair falling on His glowing forehead, which was decorated with the Vaishnava Tilak, as His parents were devotees of Lord Vishnu. His hands and feet were soft and pink like Lotus flowers. His lips were crimson like rose petals. He had beautiful streamlined eyes like that of a doe, almond shaped like lotus petals, and hazel brown in shape. They shone in the glittering light of the Sun. And His skin was as glistening as rain clouds.
He was beaming with joy and giggling. His aura was so divine and magnetic that He was instantly drawn to Him. He extended His tiny baby finger towards Vrishbhanu, calling out to Him and trying to grip His hand.
Vrishbhanu placed His baby girl on the left side of the boy, next to the empty space in the cradle, so that He could hold His small baby hand. He wanted to touch this divine baby boy and feel His mesmerising presence, and give Him blessings.
He touched the boy's right hand and put His hand over His head to bless Him. The boy held out His left hand and touched His daughter, with a small, gentle tap of His soft fingers.
It was definitely a magical touch, and a wondrous sight for everyone to behold.

She opened Her eyes to look at Him. And She smiled even more widely, recognising His touch.
"This divine child who has opened Her eyes only to look at Krishna, anticipated by His touch, shall be named Radha. She is the One who is all pleasing to the Lord, and His Aaradhya. The world worships the Supreme in Aaradhana, but even He Himself is a servant at Her Lotus Feet, His Aaradhya. Her name signifies prosperity, success, perfection and wealth. She is Goddess Mahalakshmi Herself born to You, and gracing Your home with divinity. She is most dearest to Krishna and will be His eternal favourite. Reciting Her name shall give one liberation."
Radha had gained Her sight only at the touch of Krishna. He had started performing miracles even when He was just an infant, a few days old. His birth itself had been miraculous, amidst the storms and rains on a dark, cloudy night.
She looked at Him, and remembered everything. She remembered Her purpose of birth and the curse of separation. She recognised Her eternal Consort and was aware of Her divinity. She was no less than a miracle baby Herself, found amidst a pond of lotuses and embracing the external world only because Krishna asked Her to, through His divine touch.
He gave Her sight, but She gave Him a soul. She would not look at anyone else before She saw Him. She had the complexion of molten gold, and He was as dark as rain clouds. Her eyes were large and blue with hues of brown, the shade of His skin. And His eyes were golden hazel, the tone of Her complexion.
Whatever is immeasurable appears as blue to the mortal eye. Water doesn't have its own colour, but when we look at the ocean, it appears blue. The sky is vast and clouds are infinite, but we perceive them as blue. Similarly, Krishna appeared as blue to everyone.
Molten gold with glowing skin, Radha appeared like the glistening white clouds amidst the dark infinity sky. When Krishna was the sky, She was the cotton clouds. When Krishna was the ocean, She was the foamy waves. When Krishna was vast, She was infinite.
They exchanged smiles. It was love at first sight.
