It turned out to be the exit, which I soon figured out as we slithered out of it. Before we did, however, something unexpected happened. We shrunk. Not willingly, though. It was like an instinctual reaction to approaching the exit.

That, however, is a theory for another time because as soon as we exited the tunnel, we met trees. Not any regular trees either. I knew that because instead of regular old green leaves, there were small purple flowers. They were beautiful little flowers, and they smelled pretty nice, too. We were surrounded by these big, magnificent trees.

We slithered through the purple forest. Soon, the trees faded from the purple flower trees, to the regular green ones. We slithered for a while, until we managed to mosie are way into a small clearing.

Once there, the majority of our group went up to the trees. The rest, which included me and 2 others, stayed on the ground. We were all doing our own activities. The activities varied from napping, trying to catch some food, and even trying to find some water.

I was lying in the nice, cool grass. Only staying alert enough to make out concerning noises in the distance. On the verge of sleep, I could barely make out the unnatural rustling of the bushes off to the side somewhere.

My head snapped in the direction of the sound. I straightened myself out, slowly making my way to the source of the noise. Once I got close enough to see what it was, I was in the midst of releasing a cry of warning to my fellow noodle bodies. Before I even had the chance, a hand darted from the bushes, successfully grabbing and crushing the neck of my noodley body. I was thrown into a panic as I thought it was going to drag me into the forest.

It did not.

Instead, whatever it was, walked out of the bushes into the small clearing. Its skin was whiter than the coldest of snow. Its horns and claws so dark, that they seem to absorb the colors around them.

My inner dialogue was soon interrupted by the thing bringing me closer to its mouth. I close my eyes, thinking how bad I must be at this game called life to not only die twice, but so close together, too.

As I was in the middle of accepting my death, a large, moving mass slammed into my attacker, causing us to fall to the ground. I open my eyes to see who or what saved me, only to see my 50 or so siblings ripping into my would-be attacker. I sat in stunned silence, the only noise being my siblings ripping into the thing. After a minute or 2, I smelled something. It smelled even better than the purple flowers.

Shortly after the smell registered in my brain, I blacked out. The next thing I do remember is yet again waking up in a pile of noodles. Rolling my eyes, I do my best to struggle my way out of the cuddle puddle. When I finally do, I am greeted by the smoldering remains of last night's dinner.
