Todoroki One-shots mostly angst

I'm really sorry that it took me 7 MONTHS to write this. 

Sorry if it isn't good, I tried my best (╥﹏╥)

Inasa set down his phone on his desk, eyes blown wide with shock. The video had to be a joke right? It couldn't be real.

Inasa grabbed his phone again to see if the video was still going.

It wasn't. The video had stopped and his screen had gone black. Inasa was glad. He had never seen a villain that scary.

The villain, Dabi - or Touya - whatever his name was- had been covered in scars and staples. His scars were purple for some reason. He had said that he was Endeavor's oldest son. Dabi had said he'd been neglected by Endeavor and had burnt himself alive.

And he also said that...

Todoroki had been abused.

That he had been beaten by Endeavor since he was little.

Inasa felt sick.

Inasa blinked in surprise when he heard the sound of a notification on his phone.

He opened it up and saw a stream of messages from Camie.

Camie: Omg :0

Camie: Did you see the vid ?!

Camie: It cant be real right ???

Camie: I cant bleve Endeavor would do that smh

Camie: text me back soon!

Inasa opened the messaging app and replied.

Inasa: it's really messed up, its hard to believe

Camie responded immediately.

Camie: I feel bad for the Todoroki fam, esp poor Shouto :(

Inasa: I agree

Inasa turned off his phone, not in the mood to talk anymore.

He let out a sigh as he tossed his phone carelessly on his bed, leaning back in his chair.

His stomach churned with guilt, remembering the things he had said to Todoroki back when he hated him.

Now that he knew about Todoroki's childhood, his past behavior made a lot of sense.

Not that Inasa was excusing his behavior, what he did and said was still mean, but Inasa now knew why he acted like that.

When Inasa hated Todoroki his eyes looked cold and hard. But now when Inasa thought back on it, his eyes looked sad and lonely.

Like he had been hurt too many times in his life.

Camie's POV

Camie stared at her phone waiting for Inasa to respond.

The texting app said that he was offline. He had gone offline in the middle of their conversation.

After a few more seconds, Camie got off the app, knowing Inasa probably wouldn't come back online for a few hours. Instead of waiting Camie went on Twitter to see what others were saying.

To her surprise, It wasn't filled with sympathy for the Todoroki family. A lot of people were tweeting horrible things.

Things like:

"Should the youngest Todoroki really be in the hero's course if he's the brother of a villain ??? Like, are we sure he won't turn into a villain too ????"

Or

" shouto kinda deserved it, he's too rich. His 'abuse' is a fair payback :/ "

Or

" I still stan Endeavor, I never liked Shouto anyway...lmao"

Camie was shocked. It was like those people hadn't even watched the same video she had.

Camie quickly tweeted something in defense of Shouto, before longing off ofTwitter feeling drained after reading all the hateful things.

People were cruel. Camie didn't know some people would take Endeavor's side. The abuser.

Not only did he abuse his wife but he neglected his children and abused his child. Camie went to the messaging app again to text Todoroki. She knew he probably wouldn't respond with all the stuff going on, but she still wanted him to know that she was on his side.

Camie: I know you have a lot of stuff goin on but I wanted 2 let u know I'mm still on your side :)

Camie waited a couple of seconds to see if he would respond despite knowing he wouldn't-not so soon anyway.

Camie turned off her phone after a few seconds, sighing deeply. Feeling exhausted.

" Imagine how poor Todoroki feels." Camie thought, putting her phone on her nightstand and laying her head on her pillow.

Camie hoped Todoroki would be okay.

Haru wasn't sure what to think when he saw the video the villain Dabi had made.

He had almost dropped his phone when the video started playing.

How could this be real?

How could Endeavor- The number one hero- do something like this?

And how did nobody know for so long?

His head was buzzing with questions. None of them were answered even after hours of searching online.

Nobody had an answer.

Haru had noticed during his fight with Todoroki that the way he acted was strange.

His eyes were almost empty like he wasn't even there.

They looked haunted.

At the time, It scared Haru, throwing him off his game. Now he knew why they were so haunted-looking.

His behavior all made sense now.

His phone pinged in his hand. He looked down at a message from his friend, Ren.

Ren: hey, did you see the video?

Haru: yeah I did. i feel bad...

Ren: why? Todoroki was a jerk to us, I think he deserved it

Haru: ????? what ????? How was he a jerk? Just by beating us?

Ren: not just that, but he kinda acted like he was better than us, did you notice that? It was giving "I'm the son of endeavor bow down to me" kinda vibes.

Haru: umm, i don't think so, i kinda think you're the one being a jerk, Ren.

Ren left him on read after that. Haru didn't care. It wasn't like they were close friends. And what Ren had said was horrible and really stupid. Haru shook his head.

It seemed like Japan was going insane.

And honestly, maybe it was. 

I'm sorry that was sooo bad 😭 🤮

I tried my best but no matter how many times I re-wrote it, it was still bad! 

I hope you can forgive me. 

Also, I'm sorry it took me 7 months to finish this. 

I hope you somehow found a way to enjoy this horrible one-shot.
