"Ah, you're awake."

Uneasily I rose out of a bed that I had been put in, this was the Poseidon Cabin, I noted. There was the salt water fountain, and balcony overlooking the canoe lake. Rubbing my head, I looked around and spotted Percy sitting in a bed just across from me, smiling widely.

"How do you feel?" He asked, the truth was that I didn't know, I couldn't comprehend what had happened in the woods, I was feeling confused, ecstatic, powerful, overwhelmed and exhausted.

"I-they-what happened?" Gods, forming legible sentences was difficult.

"You were amazing, you controlled the water and dad claimed you." He informed me, grinning ear-to-ear "Welcome to the Poseidon Cabin, sis"

Sis. I'm his first and only demigod sibling from Camp-Half-Blood. He's, my brother. I was claimed. Dad answered my prayers. I can control water. This was a heck of a lot to take in.

"Wow," was all I could make out, then I laughed, grinning widely at my half-brother, I had a brother! It goes without a doubt that this the best day ever. Percy helped me up and we pulled each other into a tight embrace. We just stayed there for Gods know how long, swaying, beaming, and just enjoying holding each other.

I don't know or care how long it had been, but at some point, Jason burst into our cabin,

"Hey dude, have you seen Abiga-?" His voice trailed off as he noticed that I was right there.

"How long have I been out?" I queried as we pulled away

"Well, it's morning. So quite a few hours." Percy answered

"What are you talking about? What's happened? And why are you in the Poseidon Cabin?" Jason asked me, looking really hurt. Why would he be hurt by any of the possible answers to those questions. Did he think that I could have gone over to tell him what had happened while I was passed out? Yeah, I can definitely do that. I decided to let Percy explain while I just sat on my bed feeling dazed and overjoyed.

When he had finished, I looked up into Jason's eyes to see relief wash over them, and then: excitement. He helped me up and then held me in a tight embrace before exclaiming "You were claimed! I told you it would happen soon!"

"Yeah, and in the same spot where I was claimed too, it got to be like dad's favourite place or something." Percy chirped in.

"That's what I thought!" I agreed.

"But Abi, please don't ever disobey direct orders again." He told me holding me at arm's length, "It could have been dangerous and you know as well as anyone that I don't support it." His face had taken on a serious expression.

"C'mon Jason, it's not that big of a deal. You know as well as anyone that I love being disobedient, besides, rules were made for me to break." I assured him, laughing with Percy, no, my brother (gosh, I'm going to have to get used to calling him that).

He let go of my arms, releasing a smile onto his lips "Ok, but please tell me next time before you do it, I was getting so worried," He looked it to which made me feel guilty for mocking his previous comment "after we won, I went looking for you, but you weren't with the Hermes kids, Alice and Julia said that you were probably in the Infirmary, which made me even more scared for you. I didn't go in coz I didn't want to crowd Will, but then you didn't show up to dinner, or s'mores at the campfire, and you weren't in the Hermes cabin before bed, or the Infirmary. And Chiron wouldn't let me stay out of my cabin for any longer, but I- "I could see his eyes welling with tears of concern, concern for my safety. Oh gods, I felt so guilty. It was my fault after all.

Pulling him into another tight hug, holding his head against my shoulder. I blocked out everything else that was happening. Forgetting everything and everyone else around me, I let him melt into my arms. After a short while, I pulled away and cupped his face in my hands taking in every inch of his face.
