1.The Begging Of It All.

The narrator's POV:

After the traumatized events happening through "Green hills" was even gotten to the dark trio which was much far away for the bloody events, Shadow the hedgehog, Rouge the bat and omega have chosen to check the place looking for survivers, or any other signal of life, Omega was sure the first one to find as it was one of not working Eggman's robots and Shadow with the help of Rouge put omega back into working and luckily the first two days went fine

Shadow went alone by himself looking at the multiple corpses of animal and mobians, while Rouge and omega went to look for anyone left alive

Shadow instead went to find working supplies or anything that could be good in use in the following day but ended up to alot of dead ends or useless spots or one or two things that are actually usefull,soon after it hit an late night time and Shadow understood he would better return to his only mates, even though he is an brutal yet careless person he totally cared about Rouge as the bat was the only one the trusted fully

"I shall go back, I don't want Rouge to get worried about me", Shadow thought as he walked his way back to the base

as Shadow returned to the small base they made for the two weeks they chosen to stay, the door was wide open, lights turned on and a mess around as if someone was fighting for their life, Shadow ran inside and looked for Rouge and omega but as he got to the living room he found omega broken into pieces and Rouge.. Rouge has lying on the floor her legs and arms were cut off as well as eyes got out and her lifeless for now corpse in a blood bath

Shadow stared in whole before cold tears run down his cheeks as he got down on his knees on the floor and hugged the lifeless corpse of Rouge

"Please answer me! I don't know what I would do without you Rouge!", Shadow says trying to deny that it was to late and he couldn't get Rouge back

after several hours of crying Shadow eventually got up and have thrown any Rouge's lifeless body and kept her gloves as an memory and then got to omega's broken pieces and understood neigther emoga couldn't be fixed by the massive damage and throw the pieces away too, to make sure he would not have to be found by however done this, the same night Shadow got his items and left the base he knew he wasn't safe anymore and he was alone with no one to help him, be due to his tired body he couldn't stay wake so he forced himself to find a place to sleep and had to get the pick of an small cave which he could easily hide in and stay there due to his small sized body, Shadow then slowly curled himself into a ball and called asleep while using his background as an pillow

The next day, Shadow have woke up and got out of the cave he have slept in and when back to his goal for now on to survive and leave this place , Shadow then got to an abandoned store and found himself some food and water as well better clothes, as is was April(forgot to mention in the start) he was aware it was the mating season but didn't seem to think much about as he was alone and he haven't met other hedgehogs, Shadow got himself an comfortable outfit for to wear and run in,Shadow then got a few more food and some water bottles with a few bottles of mountain dew and got himself ready to leave and continue his 'mission'

Shadow made his way and walked around looking for an new place to sleep or anything useful neither an surviver

But suddenly before Shadow could reach and dark blue hedgehog with black eyes and red pupils and red tear  running down his cheeks was kicked him in a tree, as shadow looked at the hedgehog to under his presence a bit more shadow could tell that the blue hedgehog was more likely to be male he also noticed the dark blue hedgehog's sharp teeth and claws slightly dark red shoes with blood on em and an yet ripped and bloody outfit that the dark blue hedgehog was wearing

The dark blue hedgehog rushed to Shadow ready to land another punch but he randomly stops in the middle of the way his nose begins to twitch as if he was smelling something, at first the dark blue furred hedgehog was confused from where was the smell coming from, which ggave Shadow the favor to run away, which he did, and got to a safe spot, while the dark blue furred hedgehog was still confused about the smell

"after the massive input into making an war crime live weapon finally success, it's body contains different type of chaos enery which is more then enough to use in a hand to hand figth, due to an mistake of our device, our weapon, Project 'Shadow' was made with both female and male organs, which highest the level of getting inpregent by another male hedgehog due to his female body parts, expect Project 'Shadow's' chest was successfully removed making sure the hedgehog seem male enough to even find out about the female organize of his body, well, which can be a problem in the future due to the mating seasons where he will be forced and used only stay at his place, because of the mating smell he would he giving around attracting another male hedgehogs aswell might getting him raped by the more 'horny' inproment, Project 'Shadow' will be told about the issue in the far future, we don't need him to be afraid from the beginning which would mess up the whole image, which will have use forced to making another one and deleting the other one the same as the other failed attempts of making the weapon."

"Project 'Shadow' s' body is both female and male made, but due the female part he would most likely to look for an male mating season partner then a female one, he made sure the mating desire to be shown later on after the weapon would get comfortable with the development around himself and the will be told about his male and female body mixed signals.'

Shadow's pov:

After the strange meeting of an another hedgehog I could says and understand that my friend's death was on it hands aswell as others mobian's, but due the lack of knowledge of the other hedgehog I forced myself to run away and gain more power than the one I hold at this point

And due to my still exhausted body from the yesterday had me more powerless due so and the lack of sleep I got wasn't sure enough to keep me up a lot of time, so I try find another spot to use as an small stop to rest and eat, even due the much of chaos energy I own I still need an slight help like eating or getting some rest, which was mostly a problem due to the current situation in moment and I don't need other big problems due the fact I have now to figth and different hedgehog to the will and need to survive.

After like 20 minutes of searching I find an perfect place to use an an temporary base, this time it was an abandoned hospital, I went to high floor like 5 floor to make sure It will take more time to be found by whatever other hedgehog is, I get into once of the rooms which was better to use as an spot to sleep, I have place an dressed against the door as an second security charge and then got into a bed which superingly was a soft texture, I made myseft comfy and fell asleep in the bed hugging the pillow tightly.

After the failed attempt to get that black hedgehog I was more concerned and confused about the weird smell I have got the scent of, it was so.. Overwhelming.. So unbearable.. But it confuses me from where did it come from?..
