Julia's eyes are drawn up to the smiling faces of three more devastatingly handsome men. The one in the middle looks familiar and he winks at her with a grin.
"I think we should take this reunion somewhere quieter. We don't need too much attention drawn to us right now," one said with a British accent.
"I agree. Little querida needs someplace quiet to take this all in," a Spanish accented voice said.
"I I can't leave yet," Julia interrupts.
Three of the guys look confused until Julia lets out a low whistle. Lykos hear's his mistress's whistle and jogs over to her to sit at her side.
"So, this is the pup you saved that night," one of the men said, "What did you name the little guy?"
"I call him Lykos. It's the Greek word for wolf and I thought it fit him," Julia replied," How did you know I had the pup that n...oh my you're...you're.."
"Catch her before she passes out," the voice said as the blackness rushed around her.
The next day...
"Shh, shh you'll wake her up, she's had a shock," a soft feminine voice spoke to my right.
Her eyelids flutter open, and she groans "Mmmm"
"Easy dear you're safe here. We won't let anything happen to you," the feminine voice said placing a damp cloth on Julia's forehead.
Julia squinted as the candlelight became less fuzzy. She saw a black-haired woman smile at her "Where am I?"
"My sons brought you here because you passed out at a dance. Before you ask your pet is alright, my husband is spoiling that wolf of yours rotten," the woman chuckled.
"Sons?" Julia asks groggy
"Yes, my sons, James, Loki, Nick, and Pedro. My name is Rose Blake and before long those boys of mine will be back in here to check on you," Rose replied," I sent them away just before you woke up, they were getting too antsy."
"How long have I been here?" Julia asked
"You've been here for a couple days my dear. You have had quite a shock and my boys have been extremely worried about you. I've always wanted to meet the young lady who saved my oldest boy," Rose said with a smile.
"No one deserves to be locked up. Man or beast," Julia whispers tears rolling down her cheeks, "Sorry I have a soft heart and seeing him chained up about broke it."
"Shh its ok my dear. You are both safe and that's all that matters..."
A large body lands on the bed and excited barking breaks the silence.
"Lykos down boy I'm ok," Julia chuckles and pets her wolf as he keeps licking her face.
"Sorry he got away from me," a male voice said from the doorway.
"Thank you for keeping an eye on him sir. Lykos can be a handful sometimes. I lost at least three pairs of shoes when he was teething," Julia smiles.
"Could say the same thing with our boys...ouch what was that for?" the male asks his wife when she hits him
Julia looks a bit confused then figures she heard wrong and when she turns her head a mark is on her neck.
"My dear did you fall or something?" Rose asked her
"No I didn't why?" Julia replied in return
"Its nothing my dear. Why don't you rest up and I'll let the boys know you're awake," Rose said getting up and pushing her husband out of the room closing the door behind them.
"What is happening love?" James asked
Rose whispered in his ear and his eyes widened "Are you serious?"
