While the girls are gone a storm rolls in and the guys curse as they move around the kitchen to make sure everything is perfect. Loki sets up the candles on the table, while Bucky and Pedro set the extra flowers around. Nick tries to come in to help out with the dinner and is shoved out of the kitchen.
"Uh uh you make sure you don't get dirty. You know what mama said," Bucky said, "Don't come back out till we say so."
In town...
"I can't believe it's raining," Nikki says as she looks out of the window of the store.
"Well then I guess it's a good thing I brought an umbrella," Julia says with a smile, "I love it when it rains. Makes me want to cuddle up near a nice fire and a hot cup of tea."
"And maybe cuddle up with a certain someone or should I say someones as well?" Nikki says with a wink and a chuckle
Julia blushes as Beth and Nikki nudge her with knowing looks, "Ok ok that's enough you two. Let's finish up here before those four come sniffing after us cause we're not back yet."
The other two giggle and help pick out more goodies for a fun filled night in front of a fire.
At the house...
"Oh, nuts it's raining. She's not gonna be in the mood for this dinner," Nick sighs as he looks out the window, "I was going to take her out dancing after dinner."
"Dear you can still do that just do it in the living room. I'm sure you've got some music you can play on the stereo," Rose suggested with a smile, "And then we can make a fire in the fireplace and you can cuddle on the sofa."
Nick nods and heads for his room. His brothers head for their own as well that way there is a nice selection of music for Nick to choose from.
"I think they should have a blanket on the sofa as well dear. That way if they want they can also watch television after dancing," James suggests.
"Wonderful idea dear. I just have to finish the dessert, the girls should be home any time," Rose says and heads for the kitchen.
James nods and goes to grab a nice fluffy quilt to put on the sofa. He goes back into the kitchen to check on the dessert.
"I'm going to go check on the generator. Can't do for us to lose power tonite," James says and walks out to check on the generator.
On the drive back to the house Beth messages Bucky and lets him know that they'll be there in ten minutes. Bucky gets the message and curses under his breath. He quickly replies back to make sure Julia doesn't go into the kitchen at all. Beth looks a bit confused and messages back asking why. Bucky replies telling her what's going on and Beth's eyes widen then she smirks.
"Ok ladies once we get to the house, Jules I want you to dress in that gorgeous yellow blouse with those black jeans. We're going to show you off, ooh and don't forget that topaz jewelry we just got," Beth said.
Julia just nods and sits back in the car. Soon they reach the house and the girls usher her into the house hopefully the guys can't scent her before they get her up to her room.
Unfortunately, their plan didn't account for the sensitive noses of Julia's mates. They barely got her up the stairs when Pedro grabs Julia and pins her to the wall. He ducks his head down and kisses her hard. Before she can react, he pulls back and walks down the stairs.
"What was that about?" Julia wonders out loud and before she can move away from the wall, she's pinned again this time by Bucky who also claims her mouth in a hard kiss.
He also moves away before she can react, and he walks down the stairs following his brother. Her eyes widen and soon her lips are taken yet again, but in a soothing kiss from Loki who moves away making his way also down the stairs.
"Ok that's three. Wonder why Nick didn't steal a kiss as well," Julia pondered out loud before following the girls to her room.
Beth and Nikki pull out the yellow blouse and black jeans. Then they head for the drawer that was designated as her under thing drawer and pull out the gold lingerie that she bought yesterday. Julia looks confused at the colors they picked out.
"If it isn't obvious girl, you have a date tonite with Nick. That's why he didn't steal a kiss from you," Beth says with a grin.
"Are you serious? He wants to take me out?" Julia asks blushing
"Would we lie to you?" Nikki replies with a smirk
Julia shakes her head "No you wouldn't."
"Now take a seat Jules we're going to make you look gorgeous," Beth says gesturing to the chair in front of the mirror.
"Ok," Julia sits down and lets the girls go to it.
Fifteen minutes later...
"Wow girl you look gorgeous. You are going to knock Nick flat on his ass," Nikki said with a wicked smile," Take a look in the mirror."
Julia turns around the looks at herself "Wow I didn't think I'd look this good. You really think he's gonna fall on his you know what?"
"Girl I can guarantee he's gonna put you over his shoulder and mate you tonite. Now let's get you into that outfit," Beth replies smirking.
Downstairs Nick is pacing in the living room. Rose is watching and chuckles "Nikola you're going to wear a hole in the carpet."
He stops and looks at his mother. Nick has the grace to blush slightly.
"Sorry Mama. I'm just nervous," Nick admits.
"It's alright to be nervous Nikola. I'm sure she's just as nervous as you are," Rose replied.
Julia walks to the top of the stairs after the girls finish with her. She looks down and sees Nick pacing, biting his nails. Smiling she tilts her head noticing for the first time the shock of silver hair that covers his head. 'Mmmm I wonder what that would feel like under my fingers' she thought. Julia walked down the stairs towards him and when she reaches the fourth step from the bottom, she finally sees that she's now at eye level with him.
"Wow I never knew you were so tall," Julia breathes and Nick turns around to face her wearing his glasses," And so handsome."
Nick ducks his head "No I'm not."
Julia reaches forward and cups his cheek in her hand. She leans forward to kiss him on the cheek.
"You only need to worry about what I think and what is that my handsome vampire?" Julia whispers in his ear
"To make you happy," he whispers back looking at her his eyes glimmering in his eyes and holds her hand to his face.
Rose snaps a picture of this moment and Nick growls under his breath. Julia leans forward and kisses him to calm him down. Nick reaches forward and pulls her off the stairs into his arms. Her arms wrap around his neck and pulls him close.
"Mmmm" Julia moans into his mouth.
"Now now Nikola let her breathe. Remember the dinner that is waiting in the kitchen," Rose says with a chuckle.
Nick pulls back and smiles at Julia "Sorry gorgeous I couldn't help it."
"Maybe later you don't have to stop," Julia whispers and slides down his body feeling every inch before moving away from him and walking towards the kitchen.
Nick licks his lips as he watches her walk away. The scent of her arousal fills the air, and he looks at his mother for permission to go after her.
"Go on Nikola. She's waiting for you. Now the rest of us are going to make ourselves scarce so you two can be alone," Rose kisses his cheek and walks towards the den where the others have congregated.
