Quadruple Checkmate

Morning after

The next morning...

Rose is making breakfast the next morning and Julia comes down yawning, stretching her arms upwards. She chuckles when she notices the mark on Julia's neck.

"Morning dear," Rose says, "Want some coffee?"

"Yes please. I need a cup, or you do not want to deal with me," Julia said with a smile and squeaks when two arms wrap around her waist.

"Morning gorgeous," Nick's voice murmurs in her ear before he nuzzles her neck.

Julia giggles, "Morning handsome."

"Mmm you smell so good," he murmurs in her ear.

"Nikola why don't you grab her a cup of coffee before you kiss her hmm?" Rose suggests

Nick reluctantly lets her go and grabs a mug for her. He makes the coffee just as Julia likes it and kisses her cheek as he hands her the mug.

"Mmm thank you just how I take it," Julia says after taking a sip.

Rose winks at her son before handing him a mug of warm blood for him. Nick takes it and sips it slowly savoring the taste in his mouth.

'Make sure you rinse your mouth before kissing her again Nikola. She may accept you're a vampire, but tasting blood so fast may throw her off'

'Yes mama'

The other three come down and kiss Julia on the cheek bringing a smile to her face. Pedro and Bucky go for coffee after getting their mugs; Bucky's has a trace of blood in his while Pedro has straight coffee. Loki takes his mug of warm blood from his mother giving her a kiss on the cheek as well. A knock came on the door a few moments later.

"Come in Beth," Rose calls.

Using his vampire speed Nick pulled Julia onto his lap from where she was standing to a chair at the table nuzzling her neck as she drinks her coffee. She giggles a little and sets down her cup and rests her head on his shoulder.

Beth walks in and sees Julia on Nick's lap, she smiles shaking her head. Her eyebrows raise up when she notices the mark on her friend's neck. She tilts her head in confusion a bit till she sees a matching mark on Nick's neck on well.

"So, I guess things went well last night hmm?" Beth inquired with a smile

"Ummhmm," Nick murmured nuzzling his mate's neck taking in her scent.

"Rose did they..." Beth asked.

"No, they didn't Beth. They're taking it slow," Rose replied handing her a cup of warm blood.

"Thank you Rose," Beth said taking the cup and slowly sipping her blood.

Julia reaches and grabs her mug to sip on her coffee before it gets cold "Behave yourself handsome or I won't share the chocolate later."

"Yes gorgeous," Nick murmured kissing her neck giving her shivers.

Beth looks confused at this.

"Inside joke Beth," Julia murmurs, "I'll tell you the details later."

'They shared a piece of chocolate in a kiss Beth' Loki said.

'Oh wow'

'Don't tell our jewel that I said that'

Beth finishes her blood and pops a mint in her mouth before offering Loki one as well. Loki takes it and smiles when he notices that she didn't offer one to Nick as well.

'He had one in his pocket Loki, so don't look so smug' Beth said.

Julia smiles as she snuggles against Nick "So what plans do you have for today, Beth?"

"Well, I was thinking we could have another girl's day so we could get to know each other better. Besides I want to know all the juicy details," Beth says with a grin.

Julia blushes and hides her head in Nick's neck. Her breath tickles his neck and causes him to shiver.

'I want....I want....now' Nick groans and bites his lip

'Nikola you may need to take a cold shower before she can tell you're riled up' Rose replied with a grin.

Nick nods "Gorgeous I have to get ready for the day. I'll see you later."

He sets Julia on her feet and gives her a passionate kiss before zooming back upstairs to take a very very cold shower.

"Did I do something wrong?" Julia asks

"No dear. He just has urges for you and doesn't want to force you before you're ready," Rose replied with a smile.

Julia blushes "He wants to...you know?"

Rose and Beth nod with smiles. Beth gets up and wraps an arm around Julia.

"Ok girl we are going to head out and have a great girl's day out so Mr. fancy pants can get himself under control," Beth said and helped Julia up to her room to get changed.
