Living a new life

Paul pov:

After finding a kid in the forest the party headed back to the village as quickly as we could whilst I carried the kid. He had a weard name accelerator

*it has no meaning to them as he didn't change it to there language so it is just new name to them not an already existing word*

his cloths were well made and would work well at keeping out the cold which probably helped him survive. As we entered the village an hour later many of the group didn't know what to do so I told them to go home.

As I made it home I was greeted by the sight of my wife zenith and our maid lilia. When I entered the house they both looked at me with puzzled faces not knowing why I had a child in my arms and a sickly looking one at that. But before they could say anything I approached lilia and handed the boy over to her

I said,
"Please get some food into him and maybe give him a bath or at least some new clothes"

She replied by saying,
"Ah right master"

After that she left with the boy and I plopped down into a seat. But then zenith spoke up.
"So who is that boy"

I slowly responded with,
"Well he says his name is accelerator I found him while we were exterminating monsters in the forest"

"Do you know anything else about him"
She asked.

I replied sadly,
"Not realy just that he was abandoned by his father and left to die in the forest but somehow managed to survive for what he says 6 weeks but it was probably a cuple days or something but for someone his age that's an achievement especially since he was killing monsters for food he was killing iron bears (I just made them up) fully grown ones"

Zenith was stund for a minute before replying,
"What a kid his age could never, they are a B rank monster"

I responded by saying
"Well there's more, there was a Karentosaurus tail and legs, that's an A rank monster and yet he has no apparent injuries..."
I took a moment to think and consider things,
"H-He must be a blessed child, there is no other way he could have survived let alone killed that thing by himself. Tho it is worrying that there was one of those there in the first place and I didn't notice"

She come over and hugged me while saying,
"Dont worry about it, everything has worked out now and no one is hurt"

I shake my head and respond
"Ya I know but what should we do with the boy?

I spend a few minutes thinking of an idea, I could rase the boy but that was an unnecessary burden to undertake, but it would be good if Rudy to have someone at least somewhat close to his age. I could also send him to Philip who would more then happily take a blessed child as strong as the kid into his care, he still wanted control of the Borias house after all and a blessed child would definitely be a great asset to him. He could also be handed over to the capital if Philip didn't want him. But that might put a target on my families back so maybe an orphanage would be safer, agh I dont know

I lowered my head and tried to remove any emotion while listening out our opinions,
"We have a cuple options options one we keep him, 2 we get someone in the village to look after him and 3 is we send him off to an orphanage 4 we send him to Philip or the royal family"

She saw right threw how hard the decision was for me and said,
"Well we dont have to decide that now we can at least for now take care of him"

She then smiled at me and I smiled back. I dont realy have a preference between 1 and 2 as eather way the kid would have a good life but opinion 3 would not be the best life for him no mater how strong he is but if he truly is a blessed child he might be brought into the internal power struggle in the capital anyway. So it is just option 4 with a shity first step. But we will see when the time comes what will be best for everyone.
