Chapter 1

FATEFUL ENCOUNTER

The once vibrant shores of Sal Viento back during the Golden Age of Iberia where this city becomes a bustling trade Hub on Terra long long time ago, now had succumbed to a pervasive darkness of unknown creatures from the depth of the sea. The sky, shrouded in heavy dark clouds, where the light of the sun becomes nulled, casts an eerie pallor over the neglected mobile cityscape. Waves crashed against the dilapidated buildings, a mournful symphony that echoed throughout the desolation.

A solitary figure draped in tattered black dress, a small tattered satchel bag slung on her shoulder, and red Hibiscus flower on her dress as an accessory. The only form of cheerful vibrant colour left in this city, wandered amidst the ruins of her home, her fingers tracing the remnants of a forgotten era.

Across the shores of Sal Viento at this hour, waves gently yet still powerful lapped at the sandy beach, depositing treasures from the deep with each retreat

Across the shores of Sal Viento at this hour, waves gently yet still powerful lapped at the sandy beach, depositing treasures from the deep with each retreat. A young woman known for her penchant for fun and cheerful spirit, walked along the water's edge, her fingers trailing in the foamy surf as she collected delicate sea shells.

The sea shells were no delicate treasures, but it is still a remnants of a world now shattered. With each step she took, the weight of her loneliness pressed upon her shoulders, a burden she had grown accustomed to in the godforsaken city. Only a handful of scattered souls remained, weathered survivors in a city abandoned by the now extinguished golden light of glory and hope of Iberia. They huddled together, their eyes haunted, faces etched with tales of loss, despair, and madness.

Lost in her thoughts, the girl's attention was drawn to a distant figure sprawled upon the sand. Squinting against the dim sunlight on the sky of Sal Viento, her heart quickened as she recognized the unmistakable silhouette of a unknown object.

From afar, she thought that it was a big clump of seaweeds brought to the shores. As she gets closer and sees someone dressed like a crow?. Their tattered coat, draped over it is a black feather like cloak, and a mask that resembles a crow which covers his entire head, the person appeared to be unconscious, as though fate itself had washed them ashore.

Curiosity mingled with concern, driven the girl to quicken her pace. Every step she took brought her closer to the enigmatic stranger who now lay at the heart of her quiet paradise. The seashells in her hands forgotten, she approached cautiously, her eyes never leaving the stranger's fetal form.

As she drew nearer, the intricacies of the stranger's outfit became clearer. Contraptions on it that looked both archaic and somewhat advanced adorned their body, a testament to a world beyond Anita's understanding. Though the scene was foreign to her, a sense of empathy and connection blossomed within her chest. The stranger's face was concealed by the crow-like mask, but their labored calm breaths indicated they were alive, as if they were asleep.
