As I pack my things, I get a green letter shoot out of my flat's door with my name on it.

I open the message carefully; it states that I'm invited to the Hogwarts Alumni Excursion, a once in the life opportunity to travel to the most famous wizarding places in the world while bonding with some old friends which should take place the entire summer.

A few rules are listed at the bottom, such as the need to pack supplies for camping, swimming, dancing and various other activities and the requirement to have mastered Apparition and restriction against bringing pets.

Luckily for me, my 'tea talk' with Badeea had already given me the heads up, and I remember that after my draining meeting with Mr. Flump, I messaged mum to take care of my personal zoo while I attend the student reunion.

Oh, and maybe told her off for not visiting Jacob since he's been admitted to St. Mungo's.

The last few words of the initiation tell me to meet up in the Former Student Center's lobby within my wizarding community at 11 o 'clock, sharp.

A quick breakfast and wand cleaning session later, and I find myself entering the FSC, seeing a few familiar faces I hadn't gotten the chance to see since moving to Diagon Alley.

As expected, Penny and Badeea were chatting at the center of the group, Andre and Barnaby both leaning against the back wall, (Barnaby taking a nap) and Murphy and Chiara laughing about something I can't hear from here.

lying back against the sofas in the entrance with his hands reclined against the back of his head is the lounging form of Jae Kim, the former school smuggler from my year.

"You live in Diagon Alley, Jae?" I ask as I approach the Korean-British wizard with a slight smirk on my face, "I thought you would've been living in the flat complex-"

Jae interrupts me says cautiously, "We all can't be fortunate to land a well-paid job right after graduation," Then he turns away from me and says, "But doing side jobs in Knockturn Alley has done well so far and provides me a place to stay."

Before I could ask Jae about his past year, I see the most unexpected pair of wizards appear together out of the lobby's fireplace.

Arif Sikander, my one-time Muggle Studies teacher and my current supervisor, Crescent Flump, walk out of the Floo network, the latter levitating an old looking microwave with his wand.

As we all took notice and gathered around as Sikander announces, "Alumni of 1991, welcome to Hogwarts Alumni Excursion."

He then gives a quick look over at his watch before stating,

"Before I can answer any questions you may have over exact details, we need to reunite with the other supervisors who are currently bringing other alumni from their Former Student Center's wizarding community to our first destination."

The muggle enthusiast then gives a glance towards Flump. Flump sighs before turning to face us, the rusting microwave floating over his wand.

"Originally, the plan was to just use Apparition, since your all 18, I was hoping we wouldn't have to do any extra work, but because of 'special' circumstances-"
