"You're telling me Skye and Rath decided to leave the summer excursion after sleeping with you last night?"

Ruby asks somewhat curiously as she sits with Penny, Ben and I at breakfast, much to the surprise of the former Gryffindor-

Before Penny or Ben could say anything, I decide to give more details,
"Orion said I was the only thing those two could agree on- and afterwards, they both told me they realized what kind of trouble they are, and while they might not despise each other that much, I guess they want a break from the excursion."

Penny then asks, "Did Skye say anything about where she's going?"

"All she and Rath said was about preparing a reunion for between their former Hogwarts Quidditch teammates- for the fall, I think-"

While Ruby and Penny return to eating breakfast contently at the Massachusetts hotel, Ben continues to stare at me with shock before uttering,
"Did you say sleep them? As in physical relations-? And aren't you dating Penny?"

While I struggle to find the words, Ruby decides to answer his questions in the bluntest way possible,

"That's easy, Copper- MC and Penny have an open relationship, so they can hook up with whoever they want... I know."

Ben looks over at Penny, who gives him a nod before he turns to me,
"Wow... I- I guess a lot changed in past year, huh?"

I give him a small pat on the shoulder,
"This... has been a recent development that has a few more details I don't fully understand yet- but enough about that- how was the American Wizarding school?"

Ben finishes his plate before saying,
"So, the way Illvermorny is hidden within Mount Greylock is fascinating- mainly because of an enchanted mist and the forest which surrounds the school from the No-Majs."

Ruby then adds, "That's not all- loads of magical critters call Illvermorny home- including Pukwudgies- which are one of the four houses that students get sorted into."

"I've always wanted to know how other schools sorted out students if they have separate houses-"

Penny then exclaims in a bubbly way,
"We actually got to get sorted when we visited, MC! I think Ruby can explain it best-"

The ginger haired American witch then replies,
"So long story short, students would stand on something called a Gordian Knot and wait until one of the four house engravings picks them."

"The houses in Illvermorny are the Horned Serpent, Thunderbird, Wampus and Pukwudgie, right?"

Ben nods in agreement, "The Serpent usually wants scholars, the Thunderbird likes adventurers, Wampus favors warriors and Pukwudgie is all for healers-"
