Chapter 20

Alexander’s P.O.V.

One year later.

“Do you Alexander Cruz take Jessicia May Maverick to be your lawfully wedded wife?” The officiate asked me. I looked at my beautiful fiance her hair was in curls and her vail was pinned back and her blue eyes looked green under the lighting. I wanted to stay in this moment foreve but at the same time I was ready to start my new life with her.

“I do.”

“And do you Jessicia May Maverick take Alexander Cruz to be your lawfully wedded husband?” 

“I do”

“Then by the power vested in me by the state of California I pronounce you husband and wife you may kiss.” I grabbed onto Jessicia and kissed her softly on the lips taking in her sweet scent of tulips and honey.

Jessicia’s P.O.V.

After the wedding reception Alexander and I went to the airport and where we waited for what felt like forever but was actually only two hours before boarding a plane. We sat down in our first class seats and before we knew it the plane was in the air.

“Hey it’s gonna be a long flight are you comfortable?” He looked at me concerned. 

“I’m fine I think I’m just going to sleep for a bit.” I said before leaning my head back against the seat.

“Okay sleep well.” Alexander kissed my forehead before placing his jacket over me as I dozed off.

When I woke up Alexander was gone I was confused then he came back and sat down seeing that I was awake he kissed my forehead.

“I had to use the bathroom.” He said befor putting his seatbelt back on.

“Okay, hey how long was I asleep?” I asked while streching my arms and yawning.

“You were out for a long time so long that we are going to land soon we are almost to Orlando.”I yawned again.

“Wow I pretty much slept the whole flight.” He grabbed my hand and held it.

“Well it’s not like the flight is the part the you should pay attention to.” He kissed my palm.

“Are you saying that I’m only supposed to pay attention to you?” I asked him with a smirk.

“Actually I was going to say that you should pay attention to the things we see once we are on the boat and visiting the other places, but I like your idea much better.” He smirked and my face went a shade of crimson and I looked away from him. Just then the pilot made the announcement that we would be landing now. 

We were now on the ground and soon we were off the plane. We walked through the airport, got our bags and got into a taxi which took us to our hotel for the next week until we are to leave on our cruise. We walked into the hotel Alexander checked us in then we walked over to the elevator got in and he pressed the button for the top floor and soon we were there we found our room and he opened the door and we walked in.

Our hotel room was really nice it had a kitchen a big bathroom and a king size bed I sat my stuff down and then put it in a corner of the room.”This room is huge.”

“I wanted us to have plenty of room and I made sure our room had a kitchen since we’ll be here for the next week and tomorrow we can get a rental car so we can have some fun while we’re still here.” He set his suitcase on the bed and pulled his phone charger out of it and put it in his bag in the corner opposite of mine before plugging his phone in.

“Cool but first I’m so hungry.” I held my stomach.

“I can order us room service.” He picked up the phone and called for room service while I got up and looked at their menu and pointed to what I wanted and he ordered our food.

“How long did they say it would take?” I asked as he hung up the phone.

“They said about thirty minutes give or take do you think you can wait the long?” I nodded my head.”Okay then in the meantime do you want to take a bath?” He asked with a cheeky grin.

“What are you up to?” I inquired.

“Nothing I just want to spend a little quality time in the bath with my wife, man it feels so weird to say that maybe I was just getting used to calling you my fiance. I’m glad that now I can call you my wife for the rest of my life.” He grabbed my hands and pulled me closer to him then kissed me. He smelled like some type of woodsy cologne I found it comforting. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him deeper his hands cupped my face and reached into my hair and he ran his fingers through my hair for a few minutes while we kissed. Just then he put his hands on my legs and picked me up wrapping my legs around his waist and he set me on the bed and continued to kiss me more passionately when suddenly there was a knock on the door and he sighed.”Man people sure do have terrible timing” he got up and and walked towards the door.

“You're one to talk Mr. propose to a girl while she’s on a date with someone else.” He rolled his eyes and I laughed. He brought in our food and we ate. When we were done he put the plates on the counter. 

I layed back on the bed and closed my eyes. When I felt his breath on me I opened my eyes and saw him holding himself over me. I wrapped my arms around his neck.” You know it is our first night as a married couple, do you want to maybe…” I closed my eyes as I waited for a response. Then I felt his lips land on mine before letting go for a minute as I opened my eyes. 

“Yes, what about you do you want to?” He asked, staring at me softly.

“I do that’s why I asked if you wanted to.” I told him.

“Well then why are we still talking?” He learned in and kissed me gently his tongue danced with mine as we engaged in a passionate tango. His hands found mine and he intertwined his fingers with mine as he kissed me with a little more pressure. I kissed him back with equal passion and my hands traveled down his arms and chest and slid under his shirt I then broke the kiss and pulled his shirt off of him and he pulled mine off of me. We resumed our kiss with more fire this time and his hands found their way to my bra and unhooked it. I pulled away from the kiss.

“I love you.” I said as I ran my fingers through his hair.

“I love you too more than anything.” He said before hugging me close to him. I felt happiness wash over me. Is this how I;m going to feel for the rest of my life because I loved it and it sure was a crazy wave to ride out. I guess that’s just how it’ll be I’ll always be in the wave but now I won’t be alone ever again so long as I have him.

The End

Wow I can believe it's actually over I'm crying as I type this I sorta got attached to Jessicia and Alexander so this is emotional for me and this is the first book I've been able to finish since I had a long road of writers block, but I'm happy with how it ended. If anyone was wondering I did rush the end a little because I have something big planned but it is going to be awesome so no regrets. Also as for the rest of the characters I'll let you wonder what happend to most of them except for Dominic he lived I kinda owe you guys that information.
