Chike checked his phone for the third time in the last minute, still no calls or texts from Ada. He looked at her house through his living room window, wondering what was happening. The two women had been inside for about forty minutes before Aria had left. He'd expected Ada would call him so they could continue from where they stopped. Now two hours had gone by and there was still radio silence.

His phone rang then and he checked, confused when he saw Kachi calling him. "Guy, what's up?"

"Have you seen Zariah?" Kachi asked. "She told me she was going to see Ada but I haven't heard from her since then. She's not answering her phone."

"Aria left more than an hour ago, she hasn't gotten home?"

"Even if she stopped to get something, she should be here by now."

"I saw her car leave, Kachi."

"Was it just her or did they go together? Maybe you can help me ask Ada."

"I didn't see if it was just her, but hold on, let me call Ada."

"Thanks man."

Chike hung up and dialed his girlfriend. After about three tries and she didn't pick up, he called Kachi back. The man answered on the first ring. "Ada is not answering too. Let me go check her place."

He hurried across the street, immediately yelling for her as he got into the house. She'd even locked it, meaning she was probably out. He checked all the rooms upstairs and turned up empty, he was about going to his place when he saw the guest bathroom open. He'd never seen it open because they didn't use it, so curiosity led him there.

The floor was littered with paper and boxes of what looked like a drug. He picked one up and read it, his eyes immediately growing wide. This were pregnancy tests! Which one of the women were using it? On further inspection, he found some used test on the floor and one on the counter. He stared at it, confused about what he was seeing.

Chike grabbed one of the papers and read the instructions. Two pink lines meant pregnant, one meant not pregnant and another said invalid. He checked with the test on the floor, seeing all had one pink line and a different brand that read the minus sign. The one on the counter read the plus sign which confused him again so he began searching for another set of instructions on the floor. He found it after some minutes, confirming that the one on the counter was positive.

Could all these tests belong to one person? He wasn't even sure what to think or how to start guessing who was pregnant or not so he called his friend.

"I think you need to come over. None of them are here, but there's something you should see."

"I'm five minutes away from the estate," Kachi replied.

Chike set about tidying the bathroom. He thrashed the boxes and papers, then stuffed all the negative tests in a Ziploc bag and the positive in another bag. Then remembering one or two of the women must have pissed on the tests, he immediately scrubbed his hands. He was still washing them when the doorbell rang.

Kachi let himself in just as Chike was leaving the bathroom. "What's wrong? Did something happen to them?" Kachi asked on sighting his friend.

"I am not sure what to say, but let's grab a drink." He led Kachi to the kitchen where he grabbed beers and then opened them.

"Stop keeping me in suspense, Chike."

"I'm not sure about anything, but I think one of them is pregnant."

"One of who? Is Ada even dating anybody?"

Chike chuckled, nodding his head. "She's dating me."

"What?"
