Chapter 7

That Night

The group arrives back in New York at night and it starts raining a lot. The group gets out of the truck when they arrive to the turtles home. "Oh no. Oh." April said as she runs to cover from the rain. "Home sweet home." Leo said as the turtles jump out of the truck. "Yuck. Now I know what it's like to travel without a green card." Raph said to Jamey. "You don't going to die, it's just rain." Jamey said to him. "This isn't bad. Nice place, guys. In fact, l..." Casey said to them then Mikey cuts him off. " Are you coming or not, dude?" Mikey asks him making Casey turn around to see Mikey lifting up a manhole. 

In The Sewer

"This is great, it's great. First it's the farm that time forgot, and now this. Why don't I ever fall in with people who own condos?" Casey said to them as the group enters the sewer lair. "Guess it's hard to get good maid service in a sewer. Maybe you guys should try Roto-Rooter." Casey said to them making April look at him. "Would you quit complaining? It's just for the night." April said to him. "I still don't see why we don't get started right away." Raph said to them. "It's been a long drive, Raph." Jesse said to him. "And before we go out advertising to The Foot that we're back...we could all use a few hours' sleep." Leo said to him while Jesse sits down by her sisters. "Yeah. I know, you're right. I'm just..." Raph said to him then the group hears a loud noise from the cabinet. "What's that?" Raph said to them as the brothers take out weapons. On Jesse's signal then Mikey and Raph tugged the doors of the cabinet opened. "Danny!?" April said very surprise to see Danny. "Don't shoot." Danny said to them terrified. "I don't think it's loaded, kid." Raph said to him teasing him a little. "Good one." Jamey said to Raph while Danny gets out of the cabinet. "Danny...what are you doing here?" April asks him. "Where'd he come from?" Mikey asks Donnie who looks at him. "Beats me." Donnie. "I ran away from home." Danny said to her. "Oh God, your father's gonna have kittens." April said to him then she walks over to a phone booth that was in the sewer lair. "Does this thing work?" April asks the turtles. "No." Danny said as he runs over to April. "No, please don't call. Just let me stay here the night with you. We can call in the morning. I promise." Danny said to her while Casey walks over to them. "Danny, listen, your dad, he's..." April said to him making Casey cut her off. "Hold on, hold it. Okay, now, what is all this talk about spending the night down here?" Casey asks them. "You're a claustrophobic." Donnie said to Casey who looks at him. "Do you want a fist in the mouth? I've never even looked at another guy before." Casey said to him making Cheyenne laugh. "What he means is that you're afraid of enclosed areas." Cheyenne said to him. "And what is wrong with being gay?" Tasneem asks Casey. "Afraid? What, me? Is that what you think?" Casey asks Donnie. "Mm-hmm." Donnie hums. "And nothing is wrong about being gay." Cheyenne said to Tasneem who nods. "Hey, I don't have to take this stuff about being afraid. I'm gonna sleep in the truck." Casey said to them as he walks into a something making him jump before he leaves and the group starts laughing. 

Later April shows Danny a few draws of the turtles. "Jeez, these are good." Danny said to April. "Thanks." April said to him. "Do you think maybe I could have one?" Danny asks her. "Sure, why not?" April said to him. "Thanks." Danny said as he picks a picture of all the turtles together and he folds it carefully and puts it away in his pocket. "Oh man, I could really go...for a little deep-dish action right about now." Mikey said to them while laying on Tasneem's lap. "I had some pizza down here the other day. There might be some left over." Danny said to them making Mikey sit up and starts looking for the pizza. Donnie and Cheyenne find the pizza box, Donnie opens it to have a look inside. "Well?" Cheyenne asks him as Mikey runs over to them. "Question." Donnie said to him. "Yeah?" Mikey said to him. "Do you like penicillin on your pizza?" Donnie asks him as he opens Mikey the old pizza. Mikey groans in disappointment as he and Donnie goes down to their kneels while humming 'Taps' with a salute.

Later that night, Casey was sleeping in the truck until he hears something. Casey wakes up and he sees Danny coming out of the sewer. Danny quickly walks down the street before he starts jogging. Casey slip out of the truck and he follows him with a silent ran. 

Danny rans downtown and then across a bridge to Brooklyn with Casey keeping up with him. Finally, Danny slow down and he arrived at a huge warehouse. Danny pulls out a headband and he tied it around his head before entering the building. Casey didn't have any idea what was up with Danny but he knew this was no time to think. Casey fearlessly opens the door and he enters the headquarters of the Foot.

And Casey can't believe what he saw.
