The Jade Malfoy Book 4: Deathly Hallows

Chapter 17

     Kreacher does not return until a week after Ursa sent him. With a pop, he appears in Ursa's room. Ursa sits up in bed and looks for the noise. Kreacher walks over to Ursa's bed.

     "Kreacher has returned Miss Ursa." Kreacher croaks.

     "Thank you." Ursa says. "What news do you have for me?"

     "They plan on infiltrating Gringotts to get the cup from Miss Bella's vault. They don't have a way to fit you into their plan and are requesting you stay here, as long as you're safe."

     "I'm relatively safe but go on."

     "I am to return to Master Harry once I have given you this message and they will send me back when it is time for them to go. They want Miss Ursa on watch at Diagon Alley while they're inside."

     "Alright. Anything else?"

     "They wish you the best and hope you're safe and don't blame you for what you did."

     "Thank you Kreacher."

     "Kreacher lives to serve Miss Ursa." Kreacher disappears with a pop and Ursa sighs sadly.

     "Guess I have to deal with Bellatrix's torture a little longer. Great."

     Ursa walks down the hall of Malfoy Manor with Lyra on her shoulder. Suddenly her vision spins and she falls to the floor. Lyra flies off Ursa's shoulder as she falls. "Get help." Ursa says as she closes her eyes, hoping to stop the spinning feeling. Lyra flies through the manor until she finds Narcissa in the tea room.

     "Lyra?" Narcissa questions. Lyra bites at Narcissa's clothes and tries to pull her. "Okay I will follow you." Lyra leads Narcissa upstairs to Ursa. "Ursa! Cub what is wrong?"

     "I- I don't know." Ursa replies. "I'm so dizzy. Everything is spinning." Narcissa helps Ursa back to her feet and Ursa stumbles when she tries to walk again.

     "Yeah you are not walking. Lucius! Come here please! Lyra go find Lucius." Lyra flies off and Lucius comes down the hall a few moments later with Lyra.

     "What is wrong?" Lucius asks.

     "Something is wrong with Ursa. She is really dizzy and cannot walk. Help me get her to her room please." Lucius tries to help Ursa walk but has to resort to carrying her to her room. Lucius sets Ursa down on her bed and Narcissa rushes over. Lyra flies over to her perch and sits on it.

     "What is wrong with her?"

     "No idea. I found her like this." Lucius nods and leaves the room to find Bellatrix.

     "What the hell did you do to Ursa? Narcissa just found her dizzy and unable to walk."

     "She may have hit her head or something. I was not paying much attention. Why do you care anyways?" Lucius does not answer. "You still care about her don't you? Pathetic."

     "How do you feel Cub?" Narcissa asks later that day as she comes into Ursa's room with a plate in her hand.

     "Better." Ursa replies. "Tired."

     "I brought you dinner." Narcissa says as she sets the plate down on the nightstand.

     "Thank you." Narcissa sits on the edge of Ursa's bed. They sit in silence as Ursa eats. "I think I am going to try to take a shower." Ursa says.

     "Alright dear." Ursa goes into her bathroom and showers. She comes out in shorts and a t-shirt, thinking Narcissa had left. She yelps as Narcissa grabs her wrist and spins Ursa around. Ursa's skin is covered in bruises, cuts, and burns. Ursa gets very scared.
