"(Y/N)..that's what your name shall be.."
Your eyes stared up at someone as your rested head in their lap.
You could tell it was a woman but..for some reason you couldn't see her face.
To you, she seemed to be covered in a white light but you could tell she was smiling gently at you.
Her hands were soft and gentle as she lightly caressed the side of your face.
"You have a duty..Please, help Link on his journey in my stead. He needs you if he's going to defeat the evil that is coming.."
She spoke to you ever so softly and you questioned her quietly.
"Who's Link..?"
The woman paused for a moment but her smile never seemed to waver.
"You will know who he is when you see him..He will descend to the Earth from the heavens above."
"Why do I have to protect him..?"
"Because..you're the only one who can..our world needs both of you..Please (Y/N).."
"It is your purpose.."
Your eyes fluttered open slowly and you were greeted by the blue sky above.
You were laying on your back on the ground just gazing skyward. A gentle breeze blew strands of your hair and the green grass that tickled your fingertips.
What was this place you suddenly found yourself in?
It seemed that one minute you were in the arms of that woman and the next..you were here.
"Now, where did you come from?"
An elderly woman's voice reached your ears as her slow footsteps drew near.
Slowly, you sat up and faced her.
She wore a tall red hood and her long, blonde braid, wrapped around her eyes before dangling near her face like a pendulum.
Judging from her appearance, she had been on this Earth for many years.
"Who..are you?" You questioned the older woman and she smiled at you.
"Call me Impa..and who might you be?" She answered only to ask you the same question.
"I'm.."
"(Y/N)..that's what your name shall be.."
"(Y/N). My name is (Y/N)." You responded as you looked around at your surroundings.
Green was everywhere around you and the way the land curves around you gave the area a bowl-like look to it.
"This place is known as the sealed grounds..I wonder how you got here however."
"I..don't know..there was this woman..she told me I had a purpose..to protect the hero from the upcoming danger.."
You held your head as you tried to remember who that woman was yet for some reason, you just couldn't recall her.
Her face seemed to be a blur in your mind and her words were faint in your memory.
"Who..was that..?"
"I see.." Impa beckoned you to follow her as she turned. "Come child. Let's us go to the temple where we can talk more. I'll make you something to eat."
Without any objection, you pushed yourself to your feet and followed her to a large temple that she led you inside of.
When the two of you were inside, Impa put a pot of stew on a small fire pit while you sat quietly on a wooden stool nearby.
