"Are you sure?" Ms. Jihyun asks. Jungkook doubts for a moment and shakes his head, no.

"That's why I wanna go and check."

"Maybe you're just mistaken. How can she live on this street?" She tells him. "This zone is unlikely to be the place your mother would live at, isn't it?"

"No, but I think it's her." He insists. The head maid breathes and bites her tongue for a second as she mulled over what she had to reply.

"Fine. I'll guide you there. Where did you see her?"

"At one of those stores," he answers. The head maid lets out a sigh before she moves to open the door. She immediately prepared an umbrella and made sure that Jungkook wouldn't get wet. She lets him guide her where he said he saw 'his mom', but when they got to the store, the said woman had already left. "She must have gone straight there. Let's find her."

"Young master," Ms. Jihyun calls him. "It's not okay to follow anybody."

"It's my mom."

"You are not sure about that. What if she's not?"

"What if she is?"

"I have to tell this to your dad."

"Go on, I don't care. He doesn't care anyway."

"Jungkook," she lets out an exhausted breath. "Please, let's go back in the car. If you want to see your friend, we must go back." But Jungkook was curious about the woman he saw. She has the same figure as his mother and the same face. So, he disobeyed the head maid and ran away. Straight ahead where he thinks she must've gone. The head maid panicked and attempted to call and follow him but to no avail. He had run so fast; that it was nearly impossible to get through him. So, she had to go back and tell the butler who drives to follow where Jungkook goes.

Jungkook continues to run. He was trying to find her. She must have not gone too far as he had just seen her a few minutes ago. His little doe eyes enlarged in relief when he finally saw her, walking obliviously with a plastic bag in her hand. He hurriedly ran towards her. "Mom," he calls as he taps the woman on her arm. The woman was startled to see him when she turned around. But the boy has a great smile on his lips as he greets her. "Mom, I missed you," he says. The woman doesn't understand what's happening as she stares at the boy calling her his mom. She doesn't even know what to say.

Until a nice vehicle halted on their side. One lady in her early 30s got off from it and called the boy's name, "Jungkook."

"Mom, why aren't you saying anything?" He inquires.

"I apologize for our boy's behavior, miss," she apologized. By that time, the woman was snapped and looked at her. "He mistook you for his mother and ran away to follow you, I'm deeply sorry."

"Oh," the woman breathes, "It's okay." She bends her knees to match the boy's level and smiles at him. "You know it's not safe following anyone around, hm? And it's raining. You don't want to catch a cold, do you?" Jungkook shakes his head. The woman lets out a chuckle and faces the head maid, who immediately holds Jungkook's hand.

"Sorry again."

"It's fine, no worries," she responds and watches them get in the car until they drive off.

Jungkook cannot take his eyes off of the woman and his mind is puzzled with thoughts. Why would she act as if she doesn't know him? Why didn't she say a word when she saw him?

"I told you not to dare do it, didn't I?" Ms. Jihyun starts. And Jungkook knows where this will go: a long sermon. "What if she's a bad soul and took you? What if you fell or got into an accident, what would you do? Why would you run like that when the pavements are wet?"
