"Taehyung!" A loud eerie voice of a man made the 9-year old Kim Taehyung who seems to have a terrifying nightmare flinched and lunged on the bed. His small eyes widen, greeting his mad father who just got home a while ago.

Taehyung crawls backward, hitting his back against the wooden wall when he saw his father looking at him pissed. Even there is a space between them, the little boy can invade the almost toxicating and strong smell of liquor oozing out from his father's body.

"D-dad," Taehyung stutters. He realized that it's already morning as the rays of the sun start passing through their window and sneaking in the holes from their patch-work wall.

"How many times do I have to call you? Hundred? Thousand? Fuck! Get your ass up there and make me a coffee!" he scowls, making the latter stoop his head.

"Y-yes," Taehyung said in a low voice and slowly moved his almost limped legs from sleeping.

"Are you a sloth? Hurry up!" His father again yells so Taehyung immediately gropes for his worn-out slippers and hurriedly heads towards their kitchen.

While pouring the newly boiled water to the cup, he can't help but think about his meaningful dream. The dark place really scares him like reality but the anonymous boy, even he's not real, he felt the unfamiliar feeling of happiness.

Taehyung creeps a smile on his small lips, putting the kettle down on the table painstakingly. However, the smile on his lips falters when he realizes the painful truth that the world keeps slapping on him.

He's not real. The anonymous boy who once saved him isn't real and Taehyung knows that he wouldn't be.

"I wish he's real," Taehyung mumbles before he sighs, mixing the coffee.

When he's finished, he carefully hands it and walks toward his father who's groggily sitting on the chair. The remote control on his hands, tapping the table to work, and change the channel from their old television.

"H-here is your coffee, dad," he informs which turns the man's attention at him, scrutinizing how slow Taehyung walks who's being careful to not drop the coffee.

"Put that on the table- fuck!" Taehyung trembles in nervousness when he accidentally drops the coffee to his father's chest. Joonsun, his father widen his reddish eyes in annoyance and disappointment, throwing a sharp and terrifying gaze at shaking Taehyung.

Taehyung keeps on apologizing, his shuddering small fingers reaching for the shattered glass on the ground. His tears start brimming on his eyes, having a strong feeling of what will his father possibly do to punish the poor kid.

Joonsun is also trembling but in anger trailing through his veins, the pressure is uncontrollably spreading his system.

"What the fuck did you do, Taehyung!?" Taehyung jolts up at the rage of voice. He even got some cuts on his palm from the broken glass. He bit his bottom lip to suppress a whimper from his lips but his tears keep on streaming, pooling his eyes.

After putting some broken pieces, Taehyung stood up, knees shaking and weak. "I'm- I'm s-sorry, dad. I'm so sorry-" a strong whip from the vulgar hand of Joonsun marks the smudged cheek of Taehyung that makes the 9-year old cry even more and fall on the ground at the strong hand.

"Dumbshit," Joonsun whispers through gritting teeth then kicks the broken pieces towards Taehyung before pulling the child's matted hair, making the poor kid yelp in pain. Joonsun's stenchy breath fans Taehyung's stained cheeks.

"D-dad- I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to- " the young's apologize was cutted off when Joonsun suddenly dragged the little crying boy down, his face almost get cut by the sharp thing that scattered.

"P-please. Forgive me. I wouldn't do it again.. dad, I promise," Taehyung wails but Joonsun just smirks as if he doesn't care about his own child. Well, he really doesn't care. Why would he hurt his child if he cares, right?

"Forgive your stupidity?" Joonsun scoffs and leans against Taehyung's ears, whispering, "Eat it," Taehyung's eyes widen, staring at the shattered piece beneath him.

"D-dad."

"Eat it!" Taehyung has nothing to do but to cry. His small hands were tremblingly holding a keeny piece. Taehyung sobs, slowly putting it inside his mouth.

Taehyung repeatedly prays in his mind, wishing for help. He nervously gulps, tremblingly holding a piece on his hand. All Taehyung can think now is for help. He cried, begging in his mind for the anonymous boy to save him.

"Papa!" A 5-year old Kim Yeojin yelled, stopping the man from his malevolent plan. Gladly, Taehyung didn't do what his unsympathetic parent wants.

Yeojin, the younger girl wails, stopping her father through hitting him with her old teddy bear which was found from the garbage bin somewhere that her mother just laundried for her youngest daughter as a gift since they can't afford to buy a new one.

Joonsun scoffs, turning his attention at the little girl wailing to stop hurting her brother and removes his tight grip from Taehyung's hair.

"Stop hurting TaeTae!" She cried. Joonsun stood up and grabbed the kid's wrist. Yeojin whinges at her father's suffocating hold.

"What? Wanna eat some too? Huh?" Joonsun teases at his daughter, scaring the little girl with his horrifying glare.

"Joonsun! What are you doing to your children!?" Rihye, Joonsun's wife, Taehyung and Yeojin's mother retorted, immediately ran towards the three, pushing her husband as strong as she can.

Joonsun scoffs, "My day is now messed and ruined as always," he cackles and rakes his gaze through his wife and his children's appearance but no sympathy showed from his eyes.

"Fuck this life!" In frustration, Joonsun harshly kicked the shattered glass before he left his family which Rihye wished to be true and never come back to abuse the family again.

Rihye in sympathy for her children, approached Yeojin who's sobbing and having difficulties to say a word or even breathe.

"A-are you okay, Yeojin? Oh my God. What did your father do to you?" She asks in concern, scanning her daughter but Yeojin doesn't reply. Rihye noticed that her daughter's shaking and not looking straight in her eyes.

"Y-Yeojin?" She implores. The kid's eyes are widening, looking at a certain person behind. In so much fright on what she's seeing behind, she tightly hugged her teddy bear as if her life depends on it.

"B-blood," she muffles in a low voice.

"B-blood mommy... Tae Tae."
